altered box

Hi there everyone, hope everyone is well and that the weather is good, we have had gale force winds and rains overnight, but it seems to have settled down now.   I had heaps of time yesterday to do a bit of crafting,  ie:  an altered box to give as part of a birthday present.   I stained the top of the box with Tim Holtz stain "chipped sapphire", and used three of his stencils, "Hearts",measured, and burlap" to add texture paste, lightly coloured with "tumbled glass", when this was all dry I added satin flowers, buttons and a paper measuring tape together with charms, scissors, thimble and rhinestone buckle, I adhered some pretty black lace around the lid, I bought this from Liquidators, and it was very cheap!   around the sides of the box I added a dress model, and reel, from Tim Holtz movers and shapers cutting die and the sewing machine and another reel from Joy Crafts, I have had these cutting dies for a very long time. I shaded around these pieces with Tim Holtz distress ink "Vintage Photo" and I am entering this into two challenges,  Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: http://simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge./?=  "Anything goes"  and Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge #14, "Button it up" http://gloriadesignschallenge.blogspot.com.au ,
