St. Nicholas

Hi there, this is the 32nd embossing folder I have used in my personal challenge to use all my emb.folders, as I have got quite a few of them and want to use them all.   This card was embossed with the Darice emb.folder "sweet music" this is one I bought a long time ago, I think maybe when I first bought my Big Shot!!    I used white cardstock for the base and shaded it with Distress Vintage Photo with a blending tool.    I also used some paper from an old Kaisercraft Christmas paper pad for the next layer and an old Tim Holtz die "Doily", which I attached down the underside of the paper which I distressed with Tim's Distress tool, then I used a scrap of red cardstock to go under the St.Nicholas paper which I got in the new Graphic 45 12 x 12" paper pad, and then I cut out two stars with a punch and some numbers (25) from my stash, and stamped a red Merry Christmas with distress "Barn Door" and  ink pad and  shaded all around the edges with the vintage photo.  Hope you will like this card, and thanks for all your comments, appreciate them, and thanks so much for visiting today, Jasann

3 D Christmas Card

Hi there, here is a Christmas Card I made last night using Tim Holtz Blueprint Christmas Tree Stamp, which I have had for a few years, it is one of my favourites, , I used a yellow card stock for the topper and used distress ink markers and pads to colour the items on the card on the tree I used Peeled Paint, and Fossilized Amber for the tree, Fossilized Amber for the star, and used Cracked Pistachio, Candied Apple and Mermaid Lagoon for the baubles with a silver Gel pen, to highlight the tops and centres of the baubles. and used ground Espresso for the tree trunk,  an old stamp for the sentiment stamped and cut out by hand.  I shaded all around the tree and the flag with Black Soot, I personally am happy with this and hope you are too, as usual all your comments are gratefully appreciated, and thanks so much for visiting today, Jasann

Roses

Hi there everyone, I am back again, and feeling much better today after the Doc gave me some pain patches, and made this card with white cardstock and used a stamp that I bought out of the sale box at the local newsagent for $2. It is  a Clearly Besotted Stamp Set, I bought this ages ago and have only just used it, I used Stazon Jet Black ink pad to do the stamping and used Distress Inks, Peeled Paint, Vintage Photo, Barn Door, Memento Bahama Blue for the colouring with a water pen, which I find always works out well, and on the inside I used a Tim Holtz stencil - Doily - and I added 3 clear rhinestones to cover up an ink smudge, hope you like it, and as always your comments are always appreciated, and thanks so much for visiting today, Jasann.

We Dream of Sunny Days

Hi there, I found a lovely fun card using the crazy cats on Nikki Acton' blog, http://frankieeatsworms.blogspot.com  and cased it, thanks for the inspiration Nikki.   I stamped the cats with Stayzon ink pad and coloured the cats with fossilized Amber Distress Marker, and hand made the swimming cossies and used Kindyglitz in Pink to decorate the cossies and make the necklaces and drew the sunnies. Since the picture was taken I added white dots on the glasses and also drew  the piece that goes over the nose in black, . I hand wrote the sentiment.  With the background I used a wide brush to paint the Pink Distress Ink on and then put water on the ink and soaked the ink up onto the card.   I really like this card, and it was such fun to make, thanks for visiting today, and thanks again Nikki for your inspiration, Jasann

Holiday Knit

Hi there everyone, I made this card this morning to enter into Merry Monday Christmas Challenge "Christmas in July" http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.com.au , I used plain white cardstock for the base and used papers from an old Kaisercraft Paper Pad, which I bought several Christmas' ago, I used a Tim Holtz Distressing Tool, to distress the edges of the spotted paper and used my new Tim Holtz stencil "Holiday Knits" and used Tim's distress ink pad "Vintage Photo" to make the holiday knit pattern, and I used some more spotted paper to back the little sentiment that was also in the paper pad,   I hope you all like this card, I haven't done much at my craft table as I am needing two new hips and don't have a date yet for the op, so that is slowing me up, but light is at the end of the tunnel, I should be admitted sometime in the next 90 days, thanks so much for visiting today, and as always your comments are always appreciated, Jasann
