Steampunk
Here is my interpretation of a tutorial from Aida Haron from Sizzex, I used the Tim Holtz Alterations texture fades, "Patchwork" and sprayed it with several home made inks,Light yellow, dark yellow, and vintage photo made from a re-inker. I used ink pads, a dark reddish brown from Cre8tive, Vintage Photo from Ranger, Cantouloupe and Tuxedo Black from Memento, and a Perfect Pearls Mist "Sunflower Sparkle" and several embellishments found in my stash, and I used a Cheery Lynne Sentiment "Best Wishes" on the inside of the card.
Enjoy Life's Moments
The inspiration for this card came from "Stamping with Loll" http://stampingwithloll.com . I used a blue cardstock, and used white for the topper which I lightly inked over a brick template from Twiddleybitz and I cut the leaf from a cutting die from mpress.com.au, I used Danube Blue and black to ink the leaf and the plain blue for the bricks and the edges. I used an old Fiskars stamp for the sentiment. Am very happy with this one, Thanks Loll for the inspiration.

Mother's Day
Hi there, I made these two cards for Mother's Day, for my daughter and my daughter In law, they are both excellent Mothers and deserve to get a pretty card. For the first card I used pale lemon cardstock with a image from the Graphic 45 "Birdsong" paper, graphic 45's are my favourite papers, I used a free embossing folder from Australia Simply Cards magazine and used Mini royal Roses, Die-Namics cutting die to make the little purple roses, and used a brass butterfly for the accent. I used Tim Holtz distress ink pad to shade the embossed image and the edges, I used the Umbrella paper, also from Birdsong to line the inside and added the sentiment on one of the little tags.
With the second card, the paper is from
Graphic 45, Bohemian Bazaar, and I used black card stock for the base, the lady is an image from an old book, and used purple paper for the mini royal roses, cut with a die-namics cutting die, I used a little bottle top that was a gift from a friend and a piece of white satin ribbon which I had in my stash to make the bow, I am happy with both cards, and hope my girls will be happy with them.

Plaid
These plaid cards were made for homework on Watercolour On Line Classes, and on the darker card I used Reno Art tube watercolours, although with the grey I used Jo Sonja Paynes Grey with a small amount of white colour to mix it, I also used the Lemon Yellow also with a small amount of white mixed in and the crimson red which also had some white to lighten it. Don't like the look!! with the Lighter shaded card I used Crayola Washable Markers, as I couldn't buy Crayola water colours, and I used Kitten Grey, Pinky Pink, and small fry yellow, these were a bit easier to use as I put the colour on my craft sheet and used lots of water, I am happier with this card, next time I think I will use my faber-castile water colour pencils and see what I get, I suppose it is all a "learning curve" and lots of practice is needed.

pretty girl
I made this card today to enter into the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge No 6, which is a sketch, with a twist, the twist being using a new item and an old item. http://gloriadesignschallenge.blogspot.com.au I used black cardstock for the base of the card and used Graphic 45 papers from Birdsong Collection and used brown ribbon to go across the centre of the card, and pink flowers in the right hand side , I used stick on pearls for the embellishments and the "Pretty Girl" is cut from a decoupage book, all are old items except the pink flowers which I just made this week. I also used a silver gel pen to make a nexklace for the girl. The circles were cut with an mpress 3 in 1 nesting dies and the square was cut from a Nellie Snellon cutting die MFD006.

Winged Things
Hi There, I just made this card this morning to enter into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Winged Things, http://www.simonsaysstamp.blogspot.com/mondaychallenge/ I used plain white card stock for the base and used only Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad for the stamping, which is a variety of Stampendous, Kaiser craft, and a generic butterfly, I used two Tim Holtz stencils for the background, Burlap and Measured, and for those I applied the Distress Ink with an ink dauber, die cut the Model and the cotton reel from Tim Holtz Movers and Shapers cutting die "Mini Sewing Room Set" and I added Cheery Lynn "Wings" which were a gift from a crafting friend, Thanks Meg!!! I tied a little cotton twine around the waist of the model. I enjoyed making this card!!!
