Enjoy Life's Moments

hi everyone, here is today's card that I made for a work mate who is leaving and moving to another suburb.   I used white card stock for the base and used Tim's Quirky Bird as the main part and I coloured him with distress paints and a water brush, which seemed to work out ok, and I used Ranger Crackle Accents on the eyes to make them stand out, and the other stamps were a variety of old stamps in my stash, without their packages, so I don't know who the manufacturers were, I used the small flowers in red and the sentiment in red to keep the balance, and I used Perfect Pearls White for the pearls on the butterfly,  and I am entering this card into two challenges:

Steampunk clock

Hi there, this is number 11 of the embossing folders. I have a long way to go before I have finished using all my embossing folders, I used a white cardstock base for this card, with silver card from Poppy's crafts, and I embossed it with a Cuttlebug folder "Polka Dots". I have had this for a long time and have used it quite a lot. I used Tim Holtz "Weathered Clock"  and Memory Box "Deluxe Gear Set" both cut out in black card, I also hand cut an arrow, and attached it with a gold brad, that I had in my stash, I stained the silver card with Distress Stain "Antique Bronze" and I also used the same stain to shade all around the base card, I stuck all the elements on with Tom Bow Glue.   Hope you all like it, and your comments are always welcome, Thanks for visiting today, Jasann

Day 10 - Steampunk - with love

Hi there everyone, here is Day 10 of my personal challenge of using all my embossing folders, today it is "Steampunk" from the Tim Holtz Pocket watches and steampunk set.   I first used a plain white cardstock for the base, and used a piece of Silver Card from Poppy's Card and Paper set, and I embossed it with the gears, I also used a Tim
 Holtz "On the edge" cutting die, in Black card for the right hand side, and then I cut out the smaller gears that are from Memory Box "Deluxe Gear Set" and then I cut out the sentiment also in Black card from Creative Dies, which was a free die with a craft magazine, and it is from Craft stash Limited, www.craftstash.co.uk.   Hope you like this card, I have to make more male cards as we have a few male birthdays in this family in the next couple of months, Thanks so much for visiting today, and your comments are most welcome, Jasann

Berries

Hi everyone, Here is todays card, it was made to enter into the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge #192 "Berries" http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.com.au, I used a white cardstock base with a red topper that I distressed with m Tim Holtz Distress Tool,, and I cut the white top with Couture Die "Victorian Rectangle" the largest one, and I used Tim Holtz stencil "Festive" with distress inks "Peeled Paint" and "Evergreen Bough" and used a generic Marker for the red berries, I used distress ink "Antique Linen" to shade around the white top, which gives a slight yellow shade,   Hope you all like this card, and thanks so much for visiting today, also your comments are greatly appreciated, Jasann

Christmas - Day 9

Hi everyone, here is today's card, Day 9 in my personal challenge to use all my embossing folders, I made this card to enter into 52 (Christmas) card Throwdown Challenge: http://52cct.blogspot.com.au, and used a plain white cardstock for the base of the card, I used an old stencil of a rather large Snowflake and sprayed it with Perfect Pearls Spray Mist  in Sunflower Sparkle, when this was dry I covered it with Rangers Distress Glaze so that I could put the colour on, which I did with Memento Bahama Blue ink in the "Smooshing" technique, which was on one of the e mails I received, designed by Laura Basson, you will be able to see her technique on You Tube, I used gold card and embossed the sentiment on with an embossing folder  that I got as a free gift from Australia Simply Cards magazine, I have to admit that I haven't used this one and I have had it for a very long time!!!!  I also used an old craft sizzors to cut the edges of the card and  I used cream ribbon from my stash and used Liquid Perfect Pearls in Bizque as an accent on the ribbon.   I also shaded around the edges of the card with the Bahama Blue ink, thanks for visiting me today, and thanks for your comments, they are always greatly appreciated, Jasann

Day 8

Hi everyone, here is Day 8 in my personal challenge of using all my embossing folders, here is one I haven't used very much it is a Sizzex alterations texture fade from TIm Holtz, Airmail, it came in a set with Compass, and I used the Tim Holtz stamp set "The Journey" and used Distress Vintage Photo for the shading and the stamping and I used Liquid Perfect Pearls in Bisque, I have a few male birthdays coming up and thought this would be a good one for a man!!    Hope you all like it, and thanks for visiting today, and your comments are always greatly appreciated, Jasann

Blue Birthday

Hi everyone, this is a gatefold card that the inspiration came from Country View Crafts, and I used white cardstock with two stencils Rose Garland I think this one came from Bunnings and a Tim Holtz Doily, and used Distress Ink Pad Chipped Sapphire to colour the background, I used some brown scrapbook paper to cut out the
frameworks and used stamps, Tim's, Curious Possibility for the man and the pen nibs and used another one of Tim's, for the bottle, I don't know what the name of the stamp set is  because it came from a garage sale and I don't have the original packaging, I cut out the man and the bottle and attached them with dimensional tape and used a little bronze clock face that I got in a package from China,  Thanks so much for visiting today, and your comments are always greatly appreciated, Jasann
