Sponged Snowflakes

Hi everyone, we are having a lovely sunny day today, hope  you are too!!!  Here is today's card I made for Case-ing Christmas Christmas Challenge #26 "Sponged Snowflakes", http://case-ingchristmas.blogspot.com.au I really enjoyed making this card with a green cardstock for the background and a white card topper that I dry embossed with a Sizzex Alterations embossing folder, I don't know the official name for this as I don't have the original packaging as I bought it at a garage sale, have used it a lot though, it is one of my favourites, I used Tim Holtz mini ink pad "Peeled Paint" to sponge with various pressures to shade the snowflakes and the background!!   I cut a tag from a piece of white card and stamped snowflakes with an old generic stamp pad in the "Peeled Paint" again, I then mounted the tag on white card stock after I had shaded the top one.   The sentiment stamp is from an old Spellbinders Christmas stamp set, and I used white pearls on the corners and on the various sections of the tag.

Christmas Tree

Hi there everyone, Hope you like my card that I made last night,
I am entering this into the Case-ing Christmas Challenge
#25, http://case-ingchristmas.blogspot.com.au I used green
cardstock for the base and red cardstock on top of that
with another green piece and some striped Christmas paper.
I used Tim Holtz Blueprint stamp to stamp out two trees, and cut them from Green Glitter paper,
and layered them with dimensional tape, and shaded the edges with Tim Holtz "evergreen" ink pad,
I cut a tag from red cardstock and heat embossed with Ranger Gold embossing powder, the sentiment and used Kaisercraft basic Red Rhinestones for the accent.    Hope you like it and thank you for visiting, Jasann

Joy

Hi there everyone, a nice sunny day today and I made this card to enter into the 52 (Christmas) card throwdown June Theme Challenge - Christmas Elves.    With this card I used a green cardstock for the base with a white card topper. I used my scor-pal to score the lines for the roof, which I stained with Tim Holtz "Vintage Photo" ink pad and used a Twiddleybitz stencil for the bricks of the chimney, which was stained with Tim Holtz distress stain " Walnut Stain! I used the texture paste to make the snow on top of the chimney and used an old Sizzix embossing folder for the Elves Legs, which I coloured with Faber-Castill Water Colour pencils and inked around the edges with a Stabilo Pen, and the sentiment is from a spellbinders Christmas stamp, the background is blended with a Memento Ink Pad "Bahama Blue" I had fun making this card and hope you all like it,  thanks for visiting today, Jasann

Red and White

Hi there everyone, we are having another rainy day here, hopefully it will clear up soon..  I took the opportunity to make this red and white card for Merry Monday Christmas Challenge #163 (Red and White).  http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.com.au
I used plain white cardstock for the base and shaded it and the topper with  "Lady Bug" ink pad from Memento, the red topper came from an 8" x 8" Match Mates, neutrals, paper stack, I bought this from Big W, the white doily was a gift from a friend and I cut the ornament from a die in a Quikcuts set "Joy", the ribbon is from Noel bought from Coles on last boxing day.   the rhinestones are from Kaiser craft  Basics. Hello

Hello everyone, here is todays card, the inspiration is from Brenda at Bumblebees and Butterflies, although my card is nothing like hers the general shapes are similar, so thanks Brenda, I used a pale yellow card base with a white topper that was sprayed with a dark yellow, home made spray, and vintage photo spray I also stamped the stamp pad, vintage photo, on the topper, I cut out the frame and also cut the birdcage with Tim Holtz mini movers die and the bird also, I shaded all around the pieces with the vintage photo ink pad, I used walnut stain and antique bronze stains on the birdcage and cut the Hello out with an Elizabeth Crafts cutting die, the bird was coloured with vintage photo put on with a finger dabber, and I  used ranger liquid perfect pearls for the birds eye and the corner accents, I also sprayed the card with a gold spray.    hope you like it, and thanks for visiting today, Jasann

Snowflakes

welcome everyone, hope you are having a happy day, I made this card this  morning to enter into the Case-ing Christmas Challenge #24,   http://case-ingchristmas.blogspot.com.au I used the blue colouring with white and silver.   White cardstock for the base and I used Dylusions Spray "London Blue" to colour the snowman, and the stars, I used the Tim Holtz stencil "stars", silver card from Poppy's Crafts for the snowflakes, which were Sizzex cutting dies #17 and #22.     I also used Ranger Liquid Pearls for the little pearl accents on the card, the snowman was cut from a piece of card that I sprayed with the "London Blue" and the die is from Marianne's Creatables, I have had this die for ages and it is a favourite, and I used  a silver gel pen from Scholar brand pens from Aldi Stores, there are 24 colours in this pack, to accent the snowmans hat band, facial elements and his scarf.  I used a Memento Ink Pad "Danube Blue" for the shading around the edges. Deck the Halls

Hi there every one, here is todays card, a Christmas card made with a background of white cardstock and the topper is made with a shiny purple cardstock, from my stash, actually all the elements in this card were out of my stash, there were no new items.   I found the Marianne's creatable ornament which I shaded with Tim Holtz "evergreen bough" ink pad, the three tags were also shaded with this ink, they were cut with an old Sizzex biz die "Original Combo #2"  I have a feeling that this die is now discontinued because I haven't seen it around for a long time, I used Purple and White bakers twine to tie the three tags together, and used a piece of green and purple scraps to the tags that the sentiment is on, this was stamped with Memento ink pad, "Grape Jelly"  and the sentiment is from a Spellbinders Heirloom ornament clear stamp. The purple rhinestones are a "no name" item that was bought years ago from one of the "cheap shops"

Sparkle and shimmer

Hi everyone, welcome, hope you enjoyed the lovely sunny day today.   I made this card to enter into the Merry Monday Challenge #161, "Sparkle, Shimmer and/or bling"  http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.com.au. I used a green cardstock for the base and used a cuttlebug embossing folder that I bought at a garage sale, so I don't know the name of it, but it has Christmas numbers, ornaments etc., I shaded the edges and other elements on the folder with "Evergreen Bough" distress ink from Tim Holtz.   I used the mini Pine Tree and the upright deer from Reindeer Flight, both these cutting dies are from Tim Holtz also. I used a light green glitter card and a gold corrugated card for the pine trees, and the deer I stamped with a Stampendous stamp, Music with Vintage Photo ink which is also from Tim Holtz.  I attached these to the card with dimensional tape.  I used a little red rhinestone on the dears nose, and a black stabile pen for the eye.   I am happy with this one,  Thanks for visiting, Jasann

rain, rain and rainbows

Welcome everyone, here is a card I made for my Brother-in-law, Big Jack, I used plain white card stock for  the base and a Tim Holtz stencil "stripes" with Bahama Blue Memento ink pad, Tim Holtz cutting die "the umbrella man" which is a favourite of mine, with a saying that I found somewhere on the net, cannot remember who you are, but if you know who you are "thank you"   I printed these out on my computer together with the "Happy Birthday"   I shaded the edges with the Bahama Blue Ink.   Thanks for visiting, Jasann
