Day 7

Hi everyone, here is Day 7 in my personal challenge to use all my embossing folders, I used an Mpress embossing folder "Primrose"" and sprayed the inside of the folder with Distress Spray "Cracked Pistachio" which is a lovely light green, and used the debossed side of the folder to make this card, I stamped a butterfly from the Indigo Blue free stamp set that came with an issue of Aust.Simply Cards, and coloured it with distress markers, I am pleased with this result, and should use my sprays more often, thanks so much for calling in today, and your comments are always appreciated, thanks again, Jasann

You're a Star

Hi there, here is a card for my fourth grandson, he was elected a school counsellor yesterday and is only 9 yrs old!!!!   I used white card stock and used an old piece of packaging that I stripped the top layer off to show the corrugations and painted it with white gesso, and stained the edges with Distress Ink "Black Soot"  I used gold card and an E press cutting die set, there are several sized stars in this set, and I used one of the Tim's Quirky Birds and coloured him with distress  pad "Faded Jeans" and Memento Ink Pad "Daffodil"  I used ranger crackle accents for the eyes and a distress marker "carved pumpkin" for his beak, the sentiment came from a free star set of stamps and stencils from Papercraft Publishing in a magazine, and I cut the banner my self and used the scor-pal for the scoring, hope you all like it and that he will too!!! thanks so much for visiting today, and your comments are always appreciated,  Jasann

Book Week

Hi there everyone, I have been working on this scrap page all day and have just finished and I  am going to enter it into the Hawkesbury Agricultural Show in April.   The photo of two of my grandsons was taken on Book Week 2015 when they were dressing up.   For the page background I used old book pages and attached them with Ranger Glue and Seal, I made the little books from scrap paper and used Cheery Lynn Steampunk Owl Dies to cut the white owls, and the little birds are actually covering a boo boo on the page.  I got the idea for this page from Vicki at Clip N" Cuts. I used a stencil for the letters on the page and used Vintage Photo and a Black Soot for the edges, hope you all like this, and thanks for all your comments, and thanks very much for visiting, Jasann

Post Card

Hi everyone, here is day 6 in my personal challenge to use all my embossing folders, this card is for my brother-in-law's birthday, and I used Tim Holtz' Texture Fade "Pocket Watches" and used Distress Stain "Antique Bronze" to colour the white cardstock to a nice colour, I cut out the map and the Post Card from Kaisercraft 6-1/2" paper pad "Vintage Timeless" and roughened up the edges and shaded the edges with Distress Ink Pad "Vintage Photo" I stamped the writing with a Stampendous script stamp that I have had for ages,  I am happy how this turned out because I don't have a lot of time to get it in the post, Thanks so much for visiting today and for your comments, always appreciated, Jasann

smooshing

Hi everyone, here is a card I made today for a birthday, I used plain white cardstock, and smooshed it with Betsy Veldman's technique using a piece of acrylic, I like the way this turned out, and for the birds on the wire I used an old 12" Tim Holtz cutting die and coloured the birds with distress inks, I used distress ink 'Evergreen Bough" for the grasses and shaded all around with Memento Ink "Bahama Blue" which finished off the colouring, I adhered the Birds on the wire with Dimensional Tape, Hope you all like this one, and thanks for your comments, and thanks also for visiting today, Jasann
