Greetings

Hi everyone, this card has been made to enter into this weeks challenge on 52 {Christmas} Throwdown, http://52cct.blogspo.com.au, the challenge is to follow the sketch, which I did with red cardstock for the card base, and white embossed with Sizzex "Snow Flurries" No 2.   I used the red card stock for the banners  and for the elf I used a small Sizzex embossing folder and although you cannot see it the elf's legs are lime green with red boots, I used a Twiddleybitz Template for the embossing of the chimney www.twiddleybitz.com I stained the bricks with Ranger distress ink "Walnut stain" although they seemed to turn grey on the Texture Paste that I used for the bricks, for the snow I used a Snow Marker by Marvy  I distressed the edges of the white topper with my craft knife as I don't have a distresser.  The Greetings is a cutting die from Marianne Creatables,

Friends Smile

Hi there, I made this card to enter into "The Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge No 1"  which is to share a project that shows your blog signature style, which for me is quite plain, I do not like a lot of lace and flowers, like to keep things quite plain.   With this card I used a plain white card stock which I embossed with a Maya Road stencil  "Moroccan Style"   and I used Tim Holtz distress paint dabber "Walnut Stain"  and cut out the leaves with the mpress e nesting dies "Leaves" and I used the largest leaf die to cut and emboss the three with a couple of pieces of designer paper and edged them with Tim Holtz Distress Marker "Picket Fence"  and the stamps "Friends" and "Smile" are out of my stash, I have been hoarding these for years.  

Tea Time

Hi, Here is a card I made this afternoon to go  into a challenge on "The Shabby Tea Room"  It is for a project using white/cream with cups and/or teapot.    This was a hard one for me because of the light colours, I used white card stock with a creamy embossed paper from, I think, Bo Bunny, I used white ribbon tied in a knot and a little pendant with an vintage photo in it, and a white/cream doily, the cups are stamped from a free stamp that I received with "Craft Stamper" magazine several years ago, I embossed the cups with Ranger Embossing Powder "White Bridal"  which seems to be a tinsel like powder.   I quite enjoyed this card, but as I said with the colours it was a bit hard for me.

Howdy

I made this card as "cheer'm up" and I used an image from "the graphics fairy" they have great images there, and I used Mpress cutting dies "Stars" to cut out all the stars and used orange stabile pens and distress ink to shade the edges, and I hand wrote the sentiment!  Haven't done any drawing for quite a while, so it isn't perfect!!   and I embossed the fence with Tim Holtz embossing folder - "travel signs set"   I am entering this card in Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.

"the brick wall"

Hi there, I made this two cards using techniques I learned on the On Line Classes - Stenciled, and used a brick stencil with texture paste, and then painted it with acrylic paints, after letting it dry, I cut out greenery from a Die-Namics cutting die "leafy flourish", and the flowers from a Die-Namics  "Prima Donna Petals" and put coloured rhinestones in the centres, The butterflies were cut out and embossed with Joy Crafts cutting die, and used off cuts of Graphic 45 paper for these butterflies. Precious

I don't do a lot of scrapbooking, but I found this photo in a batch of photo's waiting to be attended to, 11 years ago this was taken, so I am a bit slack in getting them done, I used one of the Graphic 45 Steampunk spells papers for the background and added bits from my stash, I stamped the teddy bear with Bumble Bear Stamp Set, cut it out and used dimensional tape to mount it, and I coloured it with Faber-Castille Water Colour Pencils, the photo corners were cut with a Nellie Snellon Multi frame cutting die.   I am quite happy with this, it is an 8" x 8" page, which I think is large enough.

I made this card with the techniques that I learned on the On Line classes Stenciled.   I used a feather stencil, a large one and used texture paste to raise the image, and used embossing powders, Rangers "Faded Jeans" an unknown dark green, and a WOW "white twinkle" and when the paste had dried I used a heat gun to raise the glitter, I used a Cheery Lynn cutting die for the sentiment that I bought from Fat Cats Cards, www.fatcatscardcorner.com.au  and I shaded the edges of the card with Tim's distress ink pad, "Vintage Photo"
