prototype vintage valise
I recieved this Tim Holtz die "Vintage Valise" yesterday and made this prototype card box, I made the front and back the same using chip board from a box, and the black sections from card stock, I used distress ink pad "vintage photo" to shade the edges, and as I didn't have enough brads I used ranger liquid pearls "Bisque" instead of the brads, I will be shopping on Friday and will chase up some suitable brads. I made the box section from card stock which was a mistake I should have used some chipboard for strength as the card stock was not heavy enough for the job, however I lined the box with paper from my stash, and used a button and velcro for the fastener, and used a chain and key as decoration. I made the box just a shade too big, next one I will make a bit smaller. All in all it was a learning curve and the next one, hopefully, will be a bit better. I enjoyed using this die though.

3 x 3 card Best Wishes
I made this card to enter the Creative Card Challenge No 23 - Itty Bitty Cards - MoxieFabWorld.com/2013/1/75, I saw this on Suzanne's Stamping Spot, and the cards need to be 3" x 3" or they can be 2" x 1 1/2", or 2 1/4" x 2 1/2" and should show the dimensions near the card. I made this card 3" x 3" which is approximately 7 1/2cm, I could no find a tape measure in inches only centermetres, I have my scorepal in inches so that I can measure accurately, so have shown a cm measure in my photo. I used white cardstock, and stamped a gift and best wishes from an old stamp from my stash that I have had for ages, and coloured the gift with kiddie markers, also from my stash, and used a scrap of paper for the background and another scrap "love you" also from my stash, the stick on pearls are Kaiser craft basics

baby girl card
This card I made for my daughter's sister in law who had a baby girl yesterday, I don't usually do girl cards as I have all boys in the family, so it was a new experience. I got the pram pattern from about.com/scrapbooking, the background paper was free with a scrapbooking magazinne and the embossing folder to give the pram dimension was a provocraft, "Polka dots" and the wheels was EZcut folder floral numbeer 50327 from www.sullivans.net the tickets were from tim Holtz and the flowers and greenery were all from Die-Namics "Leaf flourish", "Prima donna petals", "rolled daisy" and the corner die was a Nellie Snellon MFD 027.

January 2013 tag
I made this tag, my take on Tim Holtz January 2013 tag, I think I did ok, even though I don't have all the supplies Tim used. Had to take this photo with my web camera as I cannot transfer photo's from my computer any more on google, they have changed it so I may have to change to google +, will have to see, otherwise I will have to get a new blog site.

Here is a beautiful card for my beautiful daughter, I used black cardstock for the base with graphic 45 Birdsong paper, I really love this paper it is so nice. I used red card stock behind the central image and cut a small blue butterfly out of blue card and the small gold butterfly I cut from Graphic 45 Olde Curiosity Shoppe, and I added a brass flower and a brass butterfly highlighted with red kindyglitz, I used Gold and Red kindyglitz to highlight around the edges
