Toy Soldiers

Hi there, this is the first time I have posted on  my blog since September, 2016.  I was diagnosed with severe Osteoporosis last year and needed two total hip replacements, which I have now had and am recovering now, and I am able to resume my card making.   I made this card to enter into the June 2017, theme challenge "Toy soldiers or Nutcrackers" from 52 Christmas Card Throwdown,   http://52cct.blogspot.com.   I used red cardstock for the base of the card and stamped two images of the Tim Holtz blueprint stamp, toy soldier, onto white card, I used Tim's distress tool to distress the edges of the white card and shaded it with "peeled paint" distress ink pad.   I coloured the toy soldiers with Faber Castille water colour pencils and used a piece of glitter ribbon to use on the side for a bit of glitter.  Hope you all like this card.

  3. I'm sorry to hear about your troubles but pleased to hear you are crafting again. That must feel good. It's a fun card and the glittery ribbon adds a lovely bit of sparkle.
