Bear

Hi there, here is a card I made this morning to enter into the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge #253 Bears on your card, http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.com , I used white cardstock and embossed it with a Sizzex emb.folder "Snow Flurries" and rounded the corners, I used Marianne's Creatables for the line needles and a spellbinders stamp to stamp and cut out the ribbon and topper for the bauble, I used a set of circle dies from Couture Creations to cut the Green, red and white card and used one of the very first stamps I bought to stamp the little bears, and coloured them with Faber-Castille waterc olour - pencils.  Hope you all like this card.cheers!!

Toy Soldiers

Hi there, this is the first time I have posted on  my blog since September, 2016.  I was diagnosed with severe Osteoporosis last year and needed two total hip replacements, which I have now had and am recovering now, and I am able to resume my card making.   I made this card to enter into the June 2017, theme challenge "Toy soldiers or Nutcrackers" from 52 Christmas Card Throwdown,   http://52cct.blogspot.com.   I used red cardstock for the base of the card and stamped two images of the Tim Holtz blueprint stamp, toy soldier, onto white card, I used Tim's distress tool to distress the edges of the white card and shaded it with "peeled paint" distress ink pad.   I coloured the toy soldiers with Faber Castille water colour pencils and used a piece of glitter ribbon to use on the side for a bit of glitter.  Hope you all like this card.
