Christmas Tree

Hi there everyone, I made this card to enter into the challenge at 52 (Christmas) card throwdown, http://52cct.blogspot.com.au and it is also card number 13 in my personal challenge to use all my embossing folders.   The challenge is February Technique Challenge: Stencilling!!   I got the inspiration for this card from Claudia at Von Pappe 11, from her newsletter on 18/12/15, http://vonpappe2.blogspot.com.au,
I used Tim Holtz embossing Rivetted Metal and coloured it with distress Black Soot, Antiqued Bronze Stain and Walnut Stain, I then painted the centre with white Gesso and allowed it to dry I then used three stencils, the first one is an old Christmas tree and the next one is Tim Holtz Tracks and the gold star from a free stencil from Practical Publishing, the first two allowed me to have some texture in the stencilled image that I used Distress stain Peeled Paint.   I used various stick on gems for the decoration from my stash and cut a red merry Christmas from a die from Marianne's Creatables, and finally I used white watered down gesso to use the snowflakes.    I hope you all like this card, and as always your comments are greatly appreciated, and thanks for visiting today, Jasann
