Technique Inset
Hi everyone, this is my second posting for today, I made this card to enter into this weeks 52 Christmas card throwdown challenge, http://52cct.blogspot.com.au, it is a technique card with the Christmas baubles inset into the card, the blue one was the hardest one to do, as it has lots of tiny pieces, I used glitter paper for both of them, they are cut with a Marianne's creatables die that I have had in my stash for ages, but still love them, the card base is a shiny but dull colour silver, and I put wide Sellotape on the back of the openings to hold the pieces, in some of them I had to use wet glue to help the sticky-ness. I then put a piece of cardstock cut to size on the inside to hide the sticky tape. I used a sentiment from Cre8tive a clear stick on. I drew the hangers using a stabile fine line pen.

I think these ornate baubles are gorgeous and look fab! Thanks so much for playing along with 52CCT this week!
ReplyDeleteWow - I bet it took a lot of patience to get those little pieces back in the right places! Nice job! Thanks for sharing your card with us at 52{C}CT!
