A Red Poppy card
I made this card today as a "Thank you" for a late sympathy card that I recieved today, I used white card stock for the base with a red polka dot paper from Maya Road, 6" x 6" paper pad "Life's Journey" there are some lovely papers in this collection. I used burlap from my stash together with a beige designer paper also from my stash and stamped the poppies with a stamp from "The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady" which was a free stamp from Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine, sometime last year, and I coloured the flowers with Faber and Castille water colour pencils, I used a beige ribbon and a red button from my stash, I am happy with this card.
