These are my projects for today, the first one is "Heart Wings" called after the Tim Holtz cutting die of the same name, I used white basic card stock with the next layer white paper embossed with the Cuttlebug embossing folder "Polka Dots" shaded with Memento ink "Rich Cocoa" and I used a piece of currogated cardboard, from a package and distressed it and coloured it with Tim Holtz distress stain "Walnut", I then put two press studs on the top left hand side with Hot Glue and cut out the Heart Wings with two coloured papers which I stuck on with double sided tape, that worked better than the hot glue. I used stickon pearls for the lower left hand accent and the crown., enjoyed making this one, The next one "Dress Form" was made used the basic white card stock and various paperscraps from my scrap basket, and I used a fine point pen to make the faux stitching on the paper, I used a dress form that my friend Meg had sent me, Thank you Meg!!! I used a Stampendous stamp "Music" to stamp on
the dress form and I found on the Net the Good
Friends saying and I added a pink and black ribbon to tie on the lower part of the card. This was also an enjoyable card to make

Inchies
In today's project I used a frame that I bought from the op shop in Stockton, for $2.00, it was originally a brownish varnised frame and I came home and sanded it back, and the I used Gesso as a base coat to cover the remaining varnish, and then I found a cream paint (house paint) in a can in the shed, there was only about 2" in the base but it went on really well with a 2-1/2" brush, after it dried I used a designer paper on the back and cut out "inchies" from Jane Tregenza's article in "Scrapbook Creations" magazine issue 91, from sometime in 2011, the article was called "Inchie Board Frame" and she used 144, 1-1/2X 1-1/2" chipboard squares, the photo's I used were recent photos of Dennis and our kids and grandkids, some vintage style lace and ribbon and flowers also a small heart brooch which I had in my scrap stash. I am happy with how this turned out, so I will be making more of these.

I used burlap from my stash together with a beige designer paper also from my stash and stamped the poppies with a stamp from "The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady" which was a free stamp from Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine, sometime last year, and I coloured the flowers with Faber and Castille water colour pencils, I used a beige ribbon and a red button from my stash, I am happy with this card.

Enjoy the Journey
This is today's card, inspiration from Tammy Tutterow on the Sizzex blog, she made a beautiful card with all the latest products. I didn't have the Airmail Texture Fades, so used the Pocket Watches Texture fades and shaded them with Tsukineko dew Drop inks - Bahama Blue, Rich Cocoa and Lady Bug, I used the aeroplane from Tim Holtz Visual artistry stamp set "The Journey" and the tickets from "Curious Possibility", I cut the stamp edges with a Birch craft pair of scissors, I used twine from my stash and an odd earring for the tie and the accent, I shaded the edges of the card with Rich Cocoa ink pad.

steampunk top hat!
Here is a top hat I made today, just because I wanted to make one, I got the template from AR creations, they have lovely templates there, I used white card stock and printed out the template onto the card and I stained it with Ranger distress ink Walnut I used Tim's Movers and shapers Gears together with a heap of stuff I had in my stash ie: a little bit of vintage lace, with Kaiser stick on pearls, a small white rose that I stained with the Walnut distress ink, I used a clock charm and a little brass piece that has a red flower and brass leaves and a beaded bracelet that I got in some bits and pieces that was given to me for my crafty things, I think it all came together very well.
four leafed clover for
Here is the four leafed clover that I made to wear to the St.Patrick's lunch I am going to. I stamped out green hearts, four for the bottom layer and four for the top. The lower leaves are dark and the upper light, I used a green gemmed brad for the centre and used green kindyglitz for the sparkle and glued them all together down the centre of the top leaves, I cut out a circle to glue them all onto,(for a base) to hold all the leaves together, and I cut out a small green stem. I glued a brooch fixing on the back so that I can pin in on my clothes. I am happy with this, I think it might work, if it doesn't work, I've got some green ribbon that I will just tie in a bow and wear that.

Happy Easter
These cards are my Easter cards, I only make a few to send to my special friends, I used Dyan Revealey inks for the backgrounds with some stamps, Stampendous stamps and I cut the grass at the bottom of the card out of scrap green paper that had little yellow flowers on it, the bunny came from an image found on the "Graphic Fairy" site and I used small lace flowers, for an accent, I cut out the banners and on the first one I hand wrote the Happy Easter before remembering that I had alpha stamps which I used on the second card. I had fun making these cards, I made multiples as I have a few to send out.

Up,up and away
I made this card to go into the "Tip Top Tuesday" challenge No.96, which is to have "Balloons, Spaceshops, planes etc" so I used stamps from Heidi Grace designs, for the large balloon and the biplane and I used free stamps from "craftstamper" for the flags, and the small balloons, I used a blue ink for the shading around the edges.

Thinking of you
Todays card is made with the flags being made with scraps of paper from my scrap basket! I also cut the Tim Holtz Tattered flower from old gift wrap, and the sentiment is from an old stamp set that I have had for ages, I hand drew the faux stitching around the edges, some of the edges did not come out on the scanner, but it was drawn on both sides and along the bottom of the card. I am going to enter this card in the Tim Holtz Tattered Flower challenge
