Embossing

Hi there, today is another sunny day, hope the weather is good in your place.   I made this card to enter into the Jingle Bells challenge "Embossing around the Christmas Tree",
http://jinglebellsrock.blogspot,com.
I used white cardstock for the base card, and an unknown embossing folder and stamp, these were given to me with no packaging. so I don.t , know who the designer or manufacturer are, but I liked them and used them for this card, I shaded the embossing with Memento Ink Pad, Summer Sky, and the deer and sentiment with Ranger Super Fine Embossing Powder in Gold, and the sentiment on the inside with Versa Colour Ink Pad, 20 Turquoise.   The photo does not show the embossing very well , but if you enlarge the picture it should be clearer.    Hope you like it and thanks for visiting today, Jasann

Penguin

Hi there everyone, hope all is well in your world, I made this card for the Merry Monday Challenge, #258 Put a Penguin on your card. I went through my stash and couldn't find any penguin stamps or images or dies, and so I drew one, hope you like it.  I used Distress Inks with a water brush to paint the penguin and cut a shaped card to make the clouds, also I used KindyGlitz in Chrystaline to colour the hat band and the pompom, also the falling snow, hope you all like it, thanks for visiting, Jasann

Good Morning everyone, Found a lovely site from New Zealand, just across the water from Australia, and they have challenges which I really love, and I made this card to enter.   http://inkspirationalchallenges.blogspot.co.nz, their challenge this week is #143 - photo.   They seem like a lovely bunch of ladies runnng this challenge.
I used white card stock and cut a circle in the centre of the topper with a couture set of circles, and in the back I shaded with Memento Ink Pads, "canteloupe", "tangelo", and "lady bug" and blended them to make a nice sunset, and used a Joy cutting die "Birds to cut them out in black, and a Memory Box die "Hello"    hope you all like this card, cheers, Jasmine

Joy to the World

Good Morning everyone, I have had fun this morning making this card to enter into Merry Monday Christmas Challenge #255 (Joy)
Http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.com.au .   I used white cardstock for the base, and used an old Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations embossing folder, I don't have the name of this embossing folder, but it is a favourite of mine, and I have had it for quite a few years, I coloured the trees using the dot method in two colours, distress ink pens, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron.   The two little deer were die cut with a Impression Obsession die, which I have also had for a long time, I used a scrap of scrapbook paper to cut these out and used a black pen for their eyes.   I used a very old stamp from my stash to stamp the sentiment "Joy to the World"   and I shaded the sky with a very light touch with Distress Ink Pad "Faded Jeans".   Hope you all like this Cheers,   Jasann
