Ornaments
Hi there everyone, Here is a card I made today for the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge #211, Blue, Gold, Silver/white. http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.com.au . I used white cardstock for the background and used a Tim Holtz Stencil Holly Bough, and used my Universal Crafts Marker Airbrush with a distress marker "Mermaid Lagoon" to make the background of the card. I used Tim Holtz Bigz Die "Retro Ornaments" cut out of Gold and Silver Card from Poppy's Crafts, I like these sheets of coloured card and have used these sheets quite a lot. I used the Mermaid Lagoon Marker for the ornament chains, and shaded the edges of the card with a blending tool and distress "Chipped Sapphire" hope you all like this card, and as usual your comments are greatly appreciated, thanks for visiting today, Jasann

Love, Peace and Joy
Hi there everyone, this is the card I made today to enter into the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge # 210 "Peace, Love, and Joy" http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.com.au , I used white cardstock for the base card and also for the flags, on the base I used Tim Holtz Sizzix embossing folder "snowflakes" and on the flags I used another snowflake die that came free with the "Quick Cards" magazine, these embossing folders are No.30 and 31 in my personal challenge to use all my embossing folders. I used a variety of quite old stamps from my stash for the sentiments, which I stamped in distress ink pad "Barn Door" and edged the flags with the same ink. Two Birthday Cards
Hi there everyone, here are two birthday cards for the same lady, one from me and the other from another of her friends. I made the white flowery one for her friend to give her, and U used an embossing folder ( my 28th personal challenge ) This was a free one that came with the magazine Simply Cards by Practical Publishing International, Queensland WWW.practicalpublishing.com.au they put out lovely card making and other craft magazines, for the flower I used an old die that unfortunately I don't use very often, it is a Sizzex die "Flower Blossems by Sizzlits, and I used clear stick on rhinestones for the centre of the flowers and the whole lot was cut from plain white cardstock. Hope you like this one! The next card is the one I am giving her, as I feel she has a great sense of humour and I am sure she will enjoy it, On white card stock I used a Tim Holtz texture fade "Retro Circles" my 29th embossing folder in my personal challenge} and I used Distress ink pad "Peeled Paint" and a Memento Ink Pad "Bahama Blue" and shaded them on the embossing with blending tools, I cut the opening with a Couture "Victorian Rectangle" I used a piece of acetate cut to size and I put dimensional tape around the opening and put some tiny beads in there before adding the image, which I cut out from "The Cardmaker's Collection Sea Breeze" this is an English magazine, I bought it on line and am very happy with it, I then added the topper to the card, and added the sentiment on the centre "Notice, Ladies on Beach must wear Bloomers. city ord, 72" I am sure my friend will see the funny side of this, I cut out an anchor from silver card, and the shell from some browny cardstock, these two dies are by Couture Creations and came with the pack, the pieces of seaweed were cut with a Memory Box Die, "pine needles" but it is one of those dies that can be used to many other things, I hope you will like these two cards, and as always your comments are always greatfully appreciated, and thanks for visiting, Jasann

Hi there, I finally received my Crazy Cat stamps, just love these and decided to make a birthday card for my eldest grandson's 16th Birthday, hope he gets a laugh with it!!! I used white cardstock for the base and stamped the cats with Stazon Black ink, then I coloured them with Distress Markers, I cut out the hats from some old scraps of cardstock, and used a black stabile pen for the embellishment on the top of the hats, I cut out some gift boxes also out of some old card stock, and then I made masks to cover the cats and used a Twiddley Winks stencil, Bricks, and attached them to my craft mat with adhesive tape, and the I got out my Marker Airbrush and the Ground Espresso Marker and brushed the background and I made a small flag with the sentiment on it and then I used scrap black cardstock for the sentiment on the inside with some black fish bones and milk bottles, I am very happy with this card, and hope you will too, as always your comments are gratefully appreciated, and thanks for visiting today, Jasann
