love

Hi there everyone, here are two cards I made today of similar design, I saw a similar card on the net and that is where I got the inspiration for this card, and I cannot remember who the lady was who made the original, but if you know it is you, Thank you very much!!  I used gold card and white card for the top and embossed it with Darice Embossing Folder "Wood Grain" I have had this embossing folder for ages and have used it quite a lot, I shaded the folder with Memento Ink Pad, Bermuda Blue, and used a blending tool and I cut out a gold heart with one of the Poppy Dies, and also cut a flower from white felt that was a gift from my friend Beatrice, and also shaded it with the Bermuda blue, and on one card I used blue rhinestone flowers for the accents and on the other I used a blue dragonfly brad, I used Tim's Bigz die "Tattered Florals" to cut out the flower and stuck it all toget with Hot Glue, this is the 24th card using an embossing folder in my personal challenge to use all my embossing folders, hope you all like it and as always your comments are always greatly appreciated, and thanks so much for visiting today, Jasann

Hi there everyone, here is  a card I made today to enter into the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge #202 (Let it Snow),
http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.com and it is my 23rd card in my personal  challenge to use all my embossing folders, and I used white cardstock and used a stamp from the Let it Snow embossing folder and stamp set that came free with the Quick Cards Magazine.   I also used the embossing folder that came in the set, and I used an ink pad, Color Box - Wild Hare which is a silver colour to edge the flags that I cut out myself and added clear rhinestones to the centre of the snowflakes and on the dots around the stamp. I am also entering this card into http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.com in her #278 challenge - Use a sentiment.  Hope you all like it and thanks for your comments, they are always appreciated, and thanks again for visiting, Jasann

Umbrella Man

Hi there everyone, here is my 22nd card in my personal challenge to use all my embossing foldes. This card is a birthday card for one of my male relatives and I used Black Cardstock for the base and a shiny silver cardstock for the topper, and I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder "Steampunk" and used some of my alcohol inks - "Slate" and "Butterscotch", just put drops on the silver background and let them dribble down the card as they wanted to , I am quite happy with the result of this, and I cut the Umbrella Man with Tim Holtz Bigz die, which I have had for a long time and I like to use this occasionally for male cards, I cut out the Happy Birthday with a Marianne's Creatable die which I have also had for ages, and on the inside of the card I used a Cheery Lynn Die "Steampunk Corner" this is one of my fav dies and used a sentiment that I found on MFT web site, thanks guys!!  Hope you like this card and thanks so much for visiting, Jasann

Spencer

Hi there everyone, here is a 12" x 12" scrapbook page featuring my daughter's family dog Spencer, this pic I took in January 2016 and found a lovely sheet of scrapbook paper in my stash that I thought would look lovely with this pic, and added some flowers cut from a Sizzex die Flower Blossom, this is a very old die and was the first flower die that I bought, haven't used it a lot but it is a pretty one and I thought pretty but not too pretty for a dog's page, I also used a flourish from Cheery Lynn and two little birds from an old 12" die from Tim Holtz, they are sitting on the branch, so here is Spencer, hope you like it, as I do, thanks so much for visiting today, Jasann

Birthday Wishes

Hi there, Hope the weather is good at your place, it is 32o C here in my loungeroom, I have my ceiling fans on but my daughter has been here for a week with her boys, and as it is Autumn here, she put the remote on Winter, and as I cannot see the small icons on the remote, I can't change it back, Oh well, she will be back here soon and it should be cooler soon, anyway I spent some time today making this card, which I am quite happy with, I used a white card stock for the base and coloured it with Fossilised Amber, wetting the card with water, and also wetting the ink on my craft sheet and putting the card down on the ink and got a lovely result, I used a variety of grass stamps from my stash with a variety of greens in distress inks memento and versa colour, and used an old Tim Holtz stamp from the "Lost and Found" set, and resurrected the old Tim Holtz bigz die "Weathered Florals" and made the flower from the three smallest flowers and shaded it with Distress "Scattered Straw" and "Vintage Photo" and used a round gold brad to hold them all together, and used the Cheery Lynn "Steampunk Butterfly" coloured with Turquoise Versa Colour and Distress "Peeled Paint" and attached them to the card with dimensional tape,  Hope you like this card, and thank you so much for visiting today, and as always your comments are always greatly appreciated, Jasann

One of a kind

Hi there everyone, it has been a lovely day today, and this afternoon I made this card, the 22nd embossing folder for my personal challenge, I used a white card for the base and blended a selection of memento inks and versa colour inks, Turquoise,, Cyan, Lagoon Blue, Bahama Blue, for the background and used a stencil from Dyan Revealy "Chequered Dots" and sprayed it with water and rolled a kitchen towel over it, and allowed it to dry, and while it was drying I cut the elements out of card, with Tim Ho;tz bigz die "Sand and Sea", and embossed them with Cuttlebug Polka Dots and Tny Mosaic embossing folders and coloured the sea horse with Turquoise and cyan and shaded the edges with Rich Cocoa which is a Memento ink and the sand dollar with Orange, and the star fish with Memento Cantaloupe this is also a Memento and shaded both of these with the Rich Cocoa, the sentiment is stamped on with Stayzon Black ink, this is an old stamp that I have had for ages, hope you like this one, and thanks so much for visiting today, and as always your comments are always gratefully appreciated, Jasann

Thank you

Hi everyone, here is my second card for today, it has white card stock as a base and I used Twiddly blitz stencil "Bricks" and sprayed the stencil with "Tumbled Glass", and rolled a kitchen towel over it to dry and then used Tim Holtz stencil "Clockworks" and shaded it with "Vintage Photo" with a blending tool, and I used a cutting die "Thank You" from Creative Dies,  I still have to put this card under a heavy book to flatten it out, because it became rolled whilst I was drying it in a very hot area.   Hope you all like this, and thank so much for visiting today, Jasann

The Journey awakens the Soul

Hi there, this I my 20th card in my personal challenge of using all my embossing folders, this one is Tim Holtz' texture fade "Postal Set", I have had this a long time and haven't used it much, I used Distress ink pad "Walnut Stain" for the background and used "Vintage Photo" on the Joy cutting die set "Live is  Journey" which consists of a globe and compass, which I cut and embossed to show up all the elements, I stamped "The Journey Awakens the Soul" from tim's stamp set "Lost and Found" on the inside, thanks for visiting today, Jasann
