Hi there, the other day I saw a beautiful card from Brenda at Bumblebees and Butterflies - http://www.bumblebeesandbutterflies.com I don't have all the required items to replicate this card, but thought I might be able to make something similar, as I like the concept of this card. The top card I used white cardstock and used the "stamping with embossing folder" as shown by Kylie from " Kylie is addicted to stamps" http://addictedtostamps-kylie-blogspot.com.au Kylie has a great tutorial over at her site. I made a mask to go over my Christmas tree and then stamped with an old Christmas Word Stamp, in Memento Ink Pad, "Daffodill" the tree was stamped with Tim Holtz Distress spray "Cracked Pistachio" I cut to deer out with Tim's Bigz die "Reindeer Flight" , shaded the edges with the Daffodil ink pad. The second card I used Brenda's instructions about the ink pads on the craft sheet, but didn't do enough layers. I used Tim Holtz Blue Print Christmas tree stamp on the back of the card and cut it out by hand, I used the Christmas word stamp in the Daffodil for the background, the stars as on the previous card and the deer out of Glitter Card, I like both of them, so thanks to Brenda and Kylie for their tutorials. Greatly appreciated, I am entering this in to the challenge on 52 (Christmas) card throwdown, theme challenge the theme for this one is #29 from June 2014, Rudolph/reindeer, http://52cct.blogspot.com thanks for visiting today, Jasann

Thanks
This card was made today for Simon Says Stamp - Work it Wednesday - challenge, http://www.simonsaysstamp.blog.com , the challenge is a thanks card. I used an old stamp from Tim Holtz, can't remember where I got it from or what it's name is, but it is an ATC size stamp and used Silver Acrylic Paint applied with a sponge to apply it to the stamp and stamped it on the card base, I let it dry and then used my distress inks of various blues and oranges, inked on my craft sheet and sprayed with wated and wiped the card into the inks, on allowing it to dry again I stamped the butterflies with Stazon Black Ink Pad, the butterflies are from the Kaisercraft Clear Stamp set "Tigerlily" and the sentiment is cut from black cardstock with a Memory Box cutting die "Thanks" Thanks for visiting today, Jasann

Merry & Bright
Hi all, here is my card for 52 (Christmas) card Throwdown October Colour Challenge, Blue, Purple, and some Metallic. http://52cct.blogspot.com.au I used a white card stock for the base and one of my card toppers that I had saved from another project, it was coloured with London Blue Distress Spray (Dylusions), and I used Tim Holtz Bigz Die "Retro Ornaments" to cut all the pieces of the ornaments in various scrap papers, I have a large scrap basket and like to use any papers I can find that are suitable for cards, I used silver card for the metallic items, a corner from a free die from Australian Simply Cards Magazine, cut from a pale blue paper, and the sentiment was from an old stamp set and I cannot remember where it came from or who the manufacturer is!!!! I used Memento Ink " Bahama Blue" and I used the same ink to shade the edges of the topper. Hope you all like this card, and thanks so much for visiting, Jasann

Flying Reindeer
Hi everyone, here is todays card, which I am entering into two challenges:
http://52cct.blogspot.com.au October Sketch Challenge, and http://case-ingchristmaschallenge.blogspot.com.au .
I used white cardstock for the base with a water coloured topper, I thought the dark sky was just right for the snowflakes falling down, and I stamped the snowflakes with an un-named stamp that has been in my stash for ages, I could not find my white embossing powder so I stamped with VersaMagic Archival Chalk ink pad "Cloud White" and embossed with Zing Opaque Finish emb. powder. The yellow moon was cut with a very old Nellie Snellen cutting die that I bought a very long time ago. and the Deer is a free cutting die from Issue 85, Australian Simply Cards, and coloured with Distress ink pad "Vintage Photo" and the blue bow was also coloured with Distress Marker "Blueprint Sketch", and the sentiment is from another old un-named stamp, the shades on the background are a variety of distress inks from "Black Soot", "Chipped Sapphire", "Faded Jeans", and "Tumbled Glass" Hope you all like this card, and thanks so much for visiting, Jasann

Coffee anyone?
Hi there everyone, Here is today's card that I am entering into the Christmas Challenge at Merry Monday, http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge/merry-monday-174-java-time.html I used a free stamp that I got with the Craft Stamper Magazine some years ago, I like this stamp and have used it quite a lot, I stamped it on three different scraps of Christmas paper, and for the card I used a white cardstock base, with a piece of water coloured background paper that I made recently, I like to make the backgrounds on an A4 piece of paper so that I have a stash of backgrounds ready, I used a stamp from a Christmas stamp that was a gift some time ago and unfortunately the manufacturers name was lost, but it is a favourite too, and I hand printed the "Coffee anyone?" I did all the stamping with Distress Ink Pad "Faded Jeans" also all the edges were also shaded with this ink pad. Hope you all like this card, thanks so much for visiting, Jasann PS: I am also entering this card into Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. http://simonsaysstamp.blog./mondaychallenge/com
