Green and White
HI there, Here is a card I made today to enter into the 52 {Christmas} card throwdown, http://52cct.blogspot.com.au, "March Pick a Previous Challenge" and I picked the challenge from April 2012, Green and White. I used green cardstock for the base and a piece of designer paper from Graphic 45's Bohemian Bazaar, and I used white for the sentiment and the pointsettias which both were cut with a Marianne's Creatables dies and the stamens were another piece of darker green cardstock. I was a bit dubious about how this would look, but I am very happy with it.

Hello
I made this card today, the inspiration came from the Sizzex site, a card made by Aida Haron, she offered a tutorial for this card. Mine is quite a bit different in that I did not use a topper, but made
the card with all the elements on the base card, I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder "Floral Fantasy" and the flag is made from a piece of scrap paper that I had sprayed with Dylusions sprays. The "hello" is cut from red sparkly card stock with a die that I bought on e bay, and it did not have a name, and was only in a plastic bag. The flower is cut from dried baby wipes that I used to clean my stamps and the twine is a natural cotton made by "Comnet Sales International, this is an Australian company and the twine is available at Coles supermarket. I used Memento Ink Pad "Pear Tart" tp shade the edges.

Tom's card
Here is Tom's card, he is a golfer, (and a swimmer) His card was backed with paper from the graphic 45 "Good ol' Sports" paper pack 8 x 8. I used various pictures from the pack and cut out a lady and a man golfer for the front, and for the inside I used a male golfer that I also cut out and used Silver Ranger embossing powder for the writing and for the faux stitching I used a ranger distress ink pen, "picket fence", I am very happy with these three cards, and am hoping the boys will like them!
Ben's Card
and here is Ben's card, he is a rugby league player and I thought this footy card would be suitable for him, I am going to get a few photo's of him and Andrew so I can do scrapbook layouts with this paper, I like it that much, I used actually a background paper from Bohemian Bazaar, only because it is a lighter colour, I used a cut out of a footy game and another small one of a footy player with his ball and I cut out a footy player sitting on the ground, and cut the Happy Birthday out with black card stock, where Andrew's was red. I will do the insides of the cards the same way that I did Tom's, silver embossing.
Andrews card
Here is Andrew's card, he is a soccer player and I used "Good Ol' Sports" 8 x 8 paper pad, I am very happy with this one, as it has a lot of images, I used a soccer player and his ball and cut them out, and stuck the ball onto the paper with a dimensional, I cut the little flags with a spellbinder's set of flag dies. I used the post card image on the front and the "Happy Birthday" was cut with a Marianne Creatables die and I included a saying from Ralph Waldo Emerson. The background paper is from the graphic 45 pad and is all soccer balls and is called "No 1 Fan"

hi!
I made this card to go into the gallery of CAS3, day 1, I used
plain white cardstock with red and dark blue pieces cut out with a Provocraft cutting die "Squares" which is a very old cutting die, the paper I put down the left had side is a piece of paper that I have had in my stash for ages as is the cutting die "Hi !" this is an alpha that I bought ages ago and I don't have all the pieces. I splattered some Dyan Reaveley and Tim Holtz sprays and I put some adhesive rhinestones on the cardstock

Christmas flowers
Hi There, this is a card I made this morning for the 52 {Christmas} card throwdown, http://52cct.blogspot.com.au . This is for their March Stash Challenge - Paper Flowers, I made these flowers from white tissue paper that had been put on the bottom of my spraying box so that the paper picked up the bits of spray but were not specifically sprayed, I like the softness of these, I used clear rhinestone brads for the centres of the cards and used clear stick on rhinestones for the corners. I also used paper from 6" Kaisercraft paper pad "Christmas Collections" and I also used a craft tag, which also has a rhinestone brad and I stamped the sentiment with a Versa Magic Multi surface chalk ink that I bought at Spotlight, the central part of the writing I coloured in with a white water colour pencil from Faber-Castille. The background paper, tag and stamp were all free gifts with Australian Simply Cards, issue 62. The flowers were cut from Tim Holtz' cutting die "Tattered flowers".

Steampunk workshop
I was looking at an e mail from You Make Me Ink, and I found a link to Top Tip Tuesday, http://toptiptuesday.blogspot.com.au and they have a challenge on at the moment "Metal or Faux Metal, and as I received a new die yesterday which is a Memory Box "Handy man tools" I thought I might like to enter a card in this, so I made a card with black cardstock for the background card, and I used a piece of designer paper from the new Graphic 45 "Good ol' Sports" I have an 8" x 8" pad and I really like these papers, I stamped out a clock from one of the early Tim Holtz stamps, I cannot remember which set this came from because I have lost the packaging, I also die cut a steampunk owl, the small one, from Cheery Lynn "Owls with Gears" set, the shelf was cut from a cereal box and stained with Tim Holtz distress ink "Vintage Photo" the clock was also stamped with this ink, I put a couple of little googly eyes on the owl which I bought from Spotlight in Newcastle, they have several sizes, and the tools were cut from some silver card stock that has been lying in my scrap basket for some time, the black gears are also cut from a Cheery Lynn die, I don't know the name of this as these were a gift from a scrapping friend, I quite like doing these steampunk style cards.

Hi There, Here is a card I am entering into the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog, Number 4, http://gloriadesignschallenge.blogspot.com.au
I used a pale blue background cardstock, with a little doily shaded with Bermuda Blue Memento Ink Pad, and a pretty lady download that I have had for ages, I made some Mini Royal Roses cutting die by Die-Namics, cut from Graphic 45 Bohemian Bazaar, and a small flower tag, and I added clear rhinestones that I have had also for a long time

bird
Here is another card with the texture paste. I used a Dyan Reaveley stencil for the falling leaves, and a bird stamp that I have had for years which I coloured in with Faber-Castille water colour pencils, I am enjoying this technique!!
fairy
Here is another stencilled card, this one has a fairy that I have also had for a very long time, she is a pretty little thing, and the wording is from an unknown brand of word stamps.
flower
Here is another texture paste, I am really liking this procedure, I used a simple flower stencil that I have had for a very long time and used a stamp from the old Fiskars stamp set, and used corners from Tim Holtz "life's possibilities" stamp set, they are really fun, these cards
Congratulations
Hi there, this is homework for Clean and Simple 3, Textures, I texture pasted a little Teddy Bear that I have had the stencil for about 20 years and I have always liked him, I used a Congratulations stamp from a Fiskars stamp set that I have also had for a very long time, I really enjoyed making this card

Birthday Wishes
This is the 2nd card for todays class, Julie had a beautiful card to show us, but I only had a small butterfly stamp to use and as I don't have Copics, I used water-colour pencils to colour the butterfly which was looking OK until I made a big pink splatter in the middle of the card, and then the blue sprays were quite big and I had to use a tissue to suck up the extra ink, the paynes grey turned out all right, I will just have to try this one again.
live
I made this card this morning for Clean and Simple 3 day 9 class and am happy with this even though I don't have a cutting die that is flat I have an embossing folder "swirl frame" from mpress and used a Tim Holtz stamp "The Journey" stamp set, and used emento ink pad "Pear Tart" to colour the image with a gold gel pen for the edging around the sentiment.
love
Here is the card from day 8, in clean and simple card making, not too happy with this, it is not my style of card, but I have tried my best with it, using markers and stamps.
You
Here is another card for day 5/6 in clean and simple 3 classes. I used a different set of dies, one I have had for years and years that I bought on ebay and haven't used very much, even forgot about it, and I cut out the "you" in aqua cardstock and set it into the white card, and used a variety of stamps to make some "graffiti" I am going to put this in the gallery.

it.

thanks
I enjoyed making this card, it is homework for Day 7 of Clean and Simple Cards class, I used Quill card which has the crinkly sort of finish, and I used an old alpha die set that I bought on e bay about 15 years ago, all the new sets I have a not the sort you can do separate words, rather die cut the letters and you get about 10 letters in one go, ie: some of Tim Holtz alpha dies, and the hearts cane from a valentine's set, that a friend gave me many, many years ago. I laid out the letters for "thanks" on the masking tape, as that seemed the only way I could get the letters aligned! and I cut out the hearts separately as I had only the one heart die, and the rhinestones were clear ones that I coloured. The colours I used were from a set of Stabilo coloured markers "swing cool". I bought these at office works as I don't have Copics!
white on white
I made this card today to enter into the Christmas Inspirations Challenge - white on white - http://natalduranteoanotodo.blogspot.com.br/2014/03/desafio-022014-branco.html I got the inspiration from Cheery Lynn Designs blog 6/3/14 creative moments with Sandi. I changed the card quite a bit by using white cardstock and I used the Cheery lynn Steampunk Butterfly with stick on pearls for the body and I also used Die-Namics cutting dies for the flower Hibiscus, Prima Donnaa Petals and Empress Leaves Die I used an embossing folder, Craft Concepts, "in stitches" for the background and stuck on stick on pearls for the flower centres, I am sorry it is such a horrible photo, but have not been able to take a better one,\.

Stars
I made this card today to enter into the 52 {Christmas} card throwdown, Challenge http://52cct.blogspot.com.au
the March Theme Challenge is "Stars", and I used beige cardstock for the base and a star designer paper that I found in my stash and a Christmas ribbon which I adhered with double sided tape, and the stars were die cut with an empress www.empress.com.au cutting die "stars" from some corrugated card that I had in my stash, the sentiment was from a Christmas stamp that was free with one of the magazines, cannot remember which one.

graffiti 2
This is another "graffiti" card, I cut a feather out of a piece of rubbery material with the Tim Holtz "desk top" cutting die and adhered it with a piece of Sellotape 1/2" double sided tape to a piece of a DVD cover, clear, and used a Tim Holtz sentiment from his "Curious Possibility" I used Memento ink pads, "Green Ivy" and "Grape Jelly"

Graffiti
I am quite happy with this card, it is the next one in today's lesson, with the you being inset into the card, and the words stamped in a graffiti fashion, I did not have the ones that were in the lesson, but I am happy with what I have got.
plaid
This is day 5 in the Clean and Simple class, and I think I have got this one ok, this technique does need a bit more work because I only had daubers not the blocks to add the ink to the paper, but I am quite happy with it in the circumstances where you don't have the correct "stuff"

skyline
This card was made as homework for Clean and Simple 3, class, Day 4, More Optical Illusions, with the skyline and blue skies with gold embossed stars. I didn't have exactly what the class requirements were, but I had some star stamps and a suitable saying, and I made the skyline stamp by cutting into some black rubber that had been hanging around in my stash for years, I used a Die-namics cutting die, "Skyline Border" and used Sellotape 1/2" double sided tape to stick it onto a piece of clear dvd cover. I keep all these odd bits and pieces hoping they will come in handy, and they eventually do!! however the stamp I made turned out ok, I used a spellbinders square cutting die from "Majestic Elements" to make the mask for the card front and I only had two blue ink pads from Memento which were "Danube Blue" and "Bahama Blue" so I used these and the gold embossing powder is Ranger Super Fine Detail Gold. These are still difficult cards for me.
love
I made this for homework in the class I am doing "Clean and Simple 3", today was stencil and mask, I used a Kaisercraft "doily" template because I don't have many and cut out a heart from an old provocraft cutting die "concentric hearts" and taped the two smallest hearts together to make a mask and used memento ink pad "grape jelly" and an old stamp "love" with memento "tuxedo black" still struggling with these type of cards

Smile
I made this card for the clean and simple class I am taking, this is homework! I used a stencil because I have only one background stamp large enough for a card and that one is music so I used a stencil for the background and used some circle stamps that I have had in my stash for ages, and a variety of Memento inks for the colours of the circles, and the Smile is a stamp that I have also had for ages.

blue happy Birthday
I did this card as Day 1 assignment in Clean and Simple Cards class that I am doing. This card has the blue sections set in to the white card. This is new procedure for me.
pop up steampunk no 2
Here is a better photo of the inside, I used on the left hand side a cut out from old curiosity shoppe "when pigs fly" and on the right hand side a steampunk clock which I got from China, and on the front a stamped Clock and arrows from Tim Holtz stamp set "life's possibilities" and a small silver dragonfly is next to the silver butterflies. All the papers are from pieces left over from other projects and are Graphic 45, Birdsong, Old Curiosity Shoppe, Steampunk Spells, Stamped images are from Tim Holtz "Lifes Possibilities, and the Heart and owl are from Cheery Lynne cutting dies the butterflies are cut from Joys Crafts cutting diesm and the little metal steampunk clock came from China.
pop up steampunk
Here is a Pop Up Card that I found on Split Coast Stampers, and tried to make it, it took me about 2 hours what with measuring the cardstock and cutting the papers to size and then deciding what embellishments I wanted to use, I made it a bit steampunky with the Cheery Lyn Steampunk Heart and Owl, I really like these cutting dies, I used Spellbinders Spritely Sprockets for the gears which I cut out in black and used copper kindyglitz to rub on to give a bit of sparkle I used the Ute from Tim Holtz stamp set Life's possibilities and the silver butterflies were cut from silver card stock with Joy Crafts cutting and embossing dies, I used off cuts from several of my
graphic 45 paper pads, old curiosity Shoppe, Birdsong, and Steampunk spells, I used regular black card stock for the box.

interlocking gate fold
I made this card to enter the Scor-pal "More than one score-challenge number 2, Christmas in March and use your dies. I used Spellbinders Nestabilities "Majestic Elements" to make this Gatefold card in Black and White, and colourway that I am very fond of and make a lot of cards this way, There are several youtube videos to show how this is made, and I think one from Spellbinders, I used regular black cardstock plus the white is a Quill Sculptured Board 220gsm weight and it has a crazed feel to it. There were 6 dies in this pack to use and I used stick on pearls on the centre piece.
Birdsong
HI everyone, I made this card today to enter into the Challenge number 3 at Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog. The theme is "Vintage or Retro" I was not sure what to do so I used my Graphic 45 Paper Pad "Birdsong" it is one of my favourite Graphic 45 papers. I used a black cardstock for the 5,3/4" square card and cut the birdsong paper at 5,1/2" for the background and used a small Kimono that had been in my stash for maybe 10 years, and a brass flower that was a gift from a friend, I used a black corner cut from a Cheery Lynn die in the top left hand corner and the gears at the right hand bottom corner were also Cheery Lynn. The lady in the picture is one from the Graphic 45 Pad, and I made the little flowers with Die-Namics Mini Royal Rose die and I added the back petals with some of the small flowers on the Tim Holtz "Tattered Flowers" die, and the larger one I cut a circle and scrunched it up after putting "Vintage Photo" distress ink on it and used a clear rhinestone brad for the centre, then I added stick on pearls to the edges of the card, the lace around the flowers is scrap pieces. I hope this card fits into the category of "Vintage or Retro"

March Sketch Challenge
I made this card this morning for the 52 {Christmas} card throwdown, March Sketch Challenge, and was inspired by Jennifer Frost, who had cards in Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft Magazine, vol 20, #1, I have had this magazine for ages, but found this lovely sketch which I have altered but the idea is Jennifer's, Thanks Jennifer, I used purple cardstock and white, the white and the silver I dry embossed with a Sizzex emb.folder "snow flurries" and I cut the flags out by hand, it was easier than getting out the cutting dies, I punched the little stars with a punch that I have had forever, together with the tiny circles which were cut with a paper punch.
