the large clock cards

made this cards today, one to keep to send and the other to put into one of my gift boxes, I used a cream cardstock and for the topper I used papers from the Bo Bunny 6" x 6" timepiece  collection.   I used the Tim Holtz Cutting Die too cut the clock and I used a paper doily that I bought from one of the "cheap" shops, and stained it with Tim's Vintage Photo distress ink, I cut a "Fancy That" die of the  dragonfly out of gold cardstock.  I put a black stick on pearl on the centre of the clock hands and a white stick on pearl on the head of the dragonfly,  am pretty happy with these two.

Four New Cards

I made these four cards over the last 24 hours, the top left hand card was embossed with Tim Holtz "rays" embossing folder, and I coloured the rays with Lemon Yellow Water Colour paint, and used Red Glitter Paper for the hearts, cut with an old Cuttlebug "Concentric Hearts" this was one of my first cutting dies and I use it quite a bit, on the inside I used Glitter Red Card to cut "Love" with a Die-Namics "Celebrate" cutting die., with the top right hand card, I used a cream card stock and used a Maya Road stencil and Memento ink "Grape" for the background and Die-Namic cutting die "Leafy Flourish" for the leafage and Die-Namic "Prima Donna Petals" for the flowers, the designer paper was off cuts out of my scrap basket.   The bottom left hand card was a cream card stock with the flower and leaves from the Die-Namics  "hibiscus" also cut from scrap paper, I use most of my scrap paper for flowers, the "Good Times" is also cut from the "Celebrate" cutting die, and the last card the right hand bottom has a dark blue card stock for the base and the topper is cut from a piece of card that has been coloured with spray colour that I have mixed up myself with water colours and a Dyan Reavely stencil, I used Tim Holtz stamp "The Journey" for the umbrella man, the clock and the birds.   I used a length of black wool for the wraparound with a bow and used a Perfect Pearls Mist "sunflower sparkle" for the shine.

butterfly cards

I made both these cards this morning, they are both the same size, 4" X 5,3/4" but would not scan the same size, I used a lime green base card, and the topper is a practice piece I made with Dyan Reaveling inks and stencils, I liked the way they turned out, I used Versamark ink to stamp the butterflies and used Memento Green ink to stamp the leaves, these stamps were free stamps from Craft Stamper Magazine, the ribbon is actually seam binding that I used to mop up the inks from the craft mat. I like the way these two cards turned out, but am disappointed that they did not scan the same size.

three christmas cards

These cards were made today, each one took quite some time to do, but the end is worth it, I used Tim Holtz Blue print stamps and stamped one on the base card and then two extra on extra pieces of card stock, and then I coloured them and cut out the extra stamped images and then stuck them on with dimensional double sided tape, I used stickles to give a shine and used Kindy Glitz to add the sparkle around the edges of the cards.

Another Christmas Card

Here is a card I made this morning before going out,
I used free Spellbinder Stamps from Australian Simply Cards, Issue 61.   I stamped the decorations on white card stock with Memento Ink Pad "Lady Bug" and I used dimensional tape to attach them to the card, I used a gold gel pen to colour the tops and some stick on rhinestones to the chain, I have had these in my stash for ages, having bought them at a cheap shop, the designer paper is one I bought several years ago and there was only the one page left, and I had trashed the cover, so I don't know the designer.   Only a few more Christmas cards to do now, almost finished.

21st Birthday card for Annette

I made this card yesterday for Annette for her grand-daughter's 21st Birthday, I used a cream card stock to make this card a 6" x 6" which is a bit larger than I usually use because you have to use 2 stamps to post it.   I used Graphic 45 Bohemian Bazaar for the paper and I used some little butterflies and dragon fly that my friend Meg sent to me some time ago, the flowers were Die-Namics mini Royal Roses and rolled daisy  with an extra daisy  that I bought in a packet, the two keys I bought from China in a pack of embellishments, I used two doilies in the background and the
Happy was a new Die-Namics die and the 21,  a Quickutz no 48 die, the st was a sizzix curly die and the Birthday is a Marianne's die and the ribbon came out of my stash and I am happy it made a pretty bow.  I hope Annette will be pleased with it.   On the inside I wrote:  "You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough!" I will give her the option to change that if she wants.
