This card was inspired from the Sizzex e mail, I embossed the front of the card with a Tim Holtz embossing die "Compass" and added a gold embossed compass from Tim's stamp set "The Journey" the embossing powder was Ranger and the film strip was also a Tim's die and the letters were stamped with an old alpha set that I have had for ages. and on the inside I embossed with a spellbinders M-Bossabilities die " Kickin' Rubber" I shaded it with a black ink pad rubbed on with a dauber. I cut out a QuicKutz cutting die "luggage" and the travel stamps were a Heidi Grace set "Travel" On the from I coloured with a Rangers Distress Ink "Walnut" and a water colour "Lemon" I think it turned out ok.

the Journey
This card can be used for many occasions, the card came from Dawn Griffith,s web site: http://dawnsstampingthoughts.net/ her card was a Thank You, but I did not have an appropriate stamp, so made it a multi occasion. I used white cardstock for the background with a black paper from Cre8tiv "Move to the Beat" with red card stock embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folder "Polka Dots", and the next black and white paper is from Rosie's Studio "Soiree", the white card is embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folder "Honeycomb" and the polka dot flower was cut with a Maranne's creatable die LR0107.
Card for Maddy
I made this card for Maddy, who is one of the Simon says Stamp family who is suffering from Leukemia. There is a call out to send her some cards to cheer her up, so I made this one with white card stock for the base and white top embossed with one of the impress embossing folders, with a darker paper from Darkroom door for the edging. I used a flower from Petaloo Embellishments that I bought from Destination Art. The little butterflies were cut with a Marianne's creations cutting die, and the sentiments were stamped from an old Fiskars stamp, I think it was one of the first stamps that I bought. Am sending this on Monday so I hope she will like it.

"The Watchman"
I made these three cards, the same stamp, but in three different colours to find out how different they would be. On the first two I used Tim Holts textured fades embossing folder "Riveted Metal" and on the green one I used "Diamond Plate" for the colours I used Tim's distress inks. I am happy with them.

Green challenge Christmas Card
This card was made from scraps from my stash, I have been trying to use up all the bits and bobs that I have left over from other projects. The card base is made out of white card stock, with some green patterned paper and a green glitter piece left over from a die cut at the base, the white base for the stamp was cut from Couture Nesting dies "Victorian Rectangle" CO723049 and the "Joy" and the "reindeer" were stamped with a free stamp from one of the magazines with Memento inks "Cottage Ivy" colour, and shaded around the edges with the same colour. Green gems are also from my stash. I am entering this into the Colour Challenge Number 18 at 52 (Christmas) throwdown, the challenge is to use three shades of green.
