This card was made with white cardstock, coloured with Dyan Reaveley's inks, which are lovely, I cut out the edges of the front with a Fiskars Punch edge punch, the rhinestones are green Kaiser Basic's and the butterflies are Spellbinders Shapabilities, "Butterflys",and the stamp "flying high" was a free stamp that I got with an issue of "Craft Stamper", the butterflies were cut out of the front paper and stuck down with double sided tape, so that they looked like they are flying, Dyan's inks are very loud but I think that they work with these butterflies.

Be Happy!
This card - White on White - was inspired by Joy Taylor of www.jtcardmaking.blogspot.com, I used white card stock embossed with my new Cuttlebug E.folder "honeycomb" which has the large honecomb as well as the smaller one, however I used the large on the base card and the smaller one on the three ribbon sections, that I snipped with a scissors, I hand cut a heart, which I embossed with a Cuttlebug e.folder "Polka Dots", and used two small fabric flowers and a clear rhinestone for the centre, I also used a small punched butterfly and a Marianne Creatables die to cut "be happy" I am happy with this one.

Just for you
I made this card for the challenge on Simon Says Stamp and Show, their challenge is to use a stamp you love but don't use. This is a stamp I got a long time ago, but have never used it because I did not know how to arrange it, I used white cardstock and green corrugated card with white cardstock for the top stamped layer, I used Faber and Castell water colour pencils to colour the stamped images and a sticker out of the Issue 7 Cardmaking made simple.

balloons birthday card
Todays card is "Birthday Balloon Card" for a young girls birthday, I don't really do girl cards as I have four grandsons and am more comfortable making boy cards, any here it is. I used a dark pink cardstock for the base and a piece of designer paper from a kit from "Cardmaking in Easy Steps" Issue 7, I cut out the balloons fron an Easter Egg Template from "about.com/rubberstamping.com" the template had about 8 easter eggs in various sizes I used 2 different sizes and cut them out of scrap paper that was in my scrap bag. I drew the little crosses with a black gel pen and used a purple ribbon from my stash to make the bow, I used a pink pen to draw the faux stitching around the sides and used the sentiment and the stick on pearls ad rhinestones from the above kid. I think my little friend will like, Hope so!

umbrella man and birthday card
I made two cards today, the first is a birthday card for a small girl, I used pink polka dot paper that I had in my stash and an old stamp also from my stash, cupcake and I used a Happy Birthday stamp from Fiskars, also the small hearts on the bottom are on the same Fiskars set, I used the top left hand side corner from a Marianne die and the lace at the bottom is a Nellie Snellon die. The Umbrella Man card was inspired by Richelle Christensen," californiartgirl.blogspot.com". She made a tag and I made a card with is quite different I used black cardstock for the base of the card with some masculine paper from my stash, I used a piece of darker blue for the piece at the side which I embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder "Houndstooth" I used the Small Sizzex embossing folder the Umbrella Man because I don't have a u.man cutting die so cut out all the pieces by hand, I used a Tim Holtz gear, and a hand stamp and his stamp "enjoy the journey" I used an old watch face, and a small bicycle charm from my stash, I think I bought it from china. I'm pretty happy with this card, thanks to Richelle's instructions for the Umbrella Man

White on White
I made this card today to go into the challenge "White on White" at Simon Says Stamp. The challenge is to have an all white card, so I embossed my white cardstock background with a Sizzex background embossingfolder "Snow and Trees" and used a window that my friend sent me, thanks Meg, I used Tim Holtz Movers and Shapers Die Mini Pine Tree and a Marianne Creatables Die Pine Leaves LR0181, and a white butterfly from Joy Crafts cutting and embossing die, the smallest one and I used a lace cutting die from Nellie's Multi Frames MFD 023, accented with stick on pearls, Kaiser Basic. I really like the way this one came out even though it is a bit hard to see the details.

telephone greetings
This is a new card I made today, I used paper from Prima Botanical collection that I got free with a magazine, I used a circular cutting die from Nellie Snellon multi frames MFD030, and the telephone is a QuickKutz die which I have had for a very long time, the greetings is a new die I got from Marianne's creatables, this die has a Merry Christmas and a Seasons Greetings on it, as I didn't have a Hello either in cutting die or stamp I used the Greetings die. I shaded the edges with a dull green ink pad, I embossed the from and the back with an
press embossing folder "retro swirls" and used a Tim Holtz diffuser on the back section so that I could leave a space to stamp the greeting wich is a "Stampendous" stamp which I have also had for a very long time, I like this saying. The telephone was cut from a piece of scrap paper,
and the dial from a scrap piece of black cardstoock.

Little White Rabbit
Here is a little white rabbit I knitted over the last few days for a gift, it is a free pattern from www.patonsyarns.com and the pattern was white with pink dress but I didn't have any pink so made it with red. I crocheted little flowers for her head-dress and brooch on her dress, I think it makes her more feminine and pretty.

three new cards
These three cards were made while I was "boy" sitting for my son and d.i.l. These cards were inspired by several different blog sites but I have not got the names just at the moment, The first one I used Tim Holtz embossing folder "gears" and the "film strip", the mini clock, movers and shapers together with some gears cut from another movers and shapers die, I used gold card and a cuttlebug alpha die for the numbers "2013" several small trinkets are from my stash, the clock wings are from Tim Holtz BigZ die "Heart wings" and I used rangers distress pad to shade the card "Vintage photo"
This card was inspired by "Card making made easy" with white cardstock with faux stitching with a pale pink gel pen, musical hearts which were in the kit, also in the kit was the pale pink and white ribbon, I used pale pink stick on flowers from my stock and the sentiment is from a stamp that I have had for years.
This pale pink card is a "thank you" and was made with two seperate shades of pink designer paper
I used pale pink ribbon for the accent and tied a bow, I used a pink button and Monday, 4 February 2013
Music
Todays card inspiration came from Scraps of life, their monochromic challenge on "Really Reasonable Ribbons Ramblings" Challenge into which I am entering this card. It was made on a base of white card stock with black edging and a royal blue card stock, I used a die cut from "Card making in easy steps" issue 7, and also used ribbon from that pack, I used a paler blue button from my strash, and I quite like this card which can be used for a male or female greeting.

Birthday Card
I made this card today because I need to practice my stamping and colouring and I saw a beautiful card on Simon Says Stamp by Steph. I did not have the Tim Holtz stamps only a few generic stamps that have been in my stash for a long time but I tried to make a cheerful Birthday Card with what I had, and here it is, it would do alright for a male or female receipent I used Faber and Castille water colour pencils and an old stencil that I saved from my daughters schooldays - long ago - and as I said various other stamps I think it is not too bad.
