Birthday Card

Here is today's card, I haven't posted anything because I have been visiting my son and daughter in law and their kiddies for Christmas, so haven't made any cards,
this one is on an orange card stock, with paper from a free pad
from Australian Simply Cards, I used a doily that I bought from IGA supermarket, with one of the flower pop outs in the
pad and used a rhinestone brad for the centre, I used a Marianne's Creatable "Happy Birthday" cutting die for the
sentiment on the inside of the card.

Time Flies

These are todays cards, I used ordinary card stock for the bases on these cards,
and used for the top one paper from "Petite Pages" from a Webster 6" x 6" pad that I got free with Australian Simply Cards magazine, I used the Tim Holtz clock from the Movers and Shapers magnetic die and the clock face is from  a Bo Bunny 6" x 6" pad "Timepiece Collection" which I have for some time, it is a lovely collection of
papers the stamped clocks were free stamps from "Craft Stamper Magazine"
For the second card the paper used is from Graphic 45 "Bohemian Bazaar" "Dazzling Sunset" I really love the Graphic 45 papers, they are so easy to use.  The clock was cut from Blue card stock at the same time that I cut the cold one on the other card. and the wings on both cards are from Tim Holtz cutting die "Heart Wings" that is another favourite, and the stamps on this one are from, I think, Stampers Anonymous.
I am very happy with these cards, I usually make one for sending and the other to put in a box for the gift boxes of cards that I make.

Mini birdhouses

Here is another card I finished off today, I made it with white cardstock and used Dyan Reavely Dylusions Ink Spray "bubblegum Pink"  and a stencil from CraftersWorkshop@aol.com their website is ww.thecraftersworkshop.com called Mini Birdhouses and I used a sentiment from a cutting die either from Quickutz or cuttlebug, I am not sure as I don't have the original packaging, as I bought it from a garage sale.

Snowflake

here is today's card, I made this card to send to a friend, one who I had missed out, so sorry Pat, I used Tim Holtz Blueprint "Snowflake" and used a variety of papers to make the background, and drew faux stitching around the images, it was one I had to make in a hurry, put I am fairly happy with it

Penny Farthing Happy Birthday Wishes

Hi there, This is today's card, I used two different green card stock, the light one for the base and the darker one to cut the "Happy" on an angle, it was cut with die-namics "Accent it - celebrate" and the Penny Farthing is from Scrapmattw  www.scrapmatts,com there were three in the packet and this is an Australian Company situated in Menai, NSW.   I really like this one, and hope the person who receives it will be happy, it is suitable for a man, boy or woman.

Celebrate

I made these two cards for upcoming birthdays, and used plain white cardstock for the card base and used two different papers from Graphic 45 "Bird Song" 8" x 8" paper pad and the small doilies were a gift from a friend, I think these are Cheery Lyn, but not sure, I used the Die-Namics "mini royal roses" and the "accent it - Celebrate" cutting dies and Tim Holtz "On the Edge" cutting die "Ornate" to cut out the top section, I am very happy with these and think that will be well received.

money envelopes

Hi!!!  Here are two cute little money envelopes, my two eldest grandsons requested money for special purposes for their Christmas Gifts so I made these little envelopes to hold the money, they were made out of scrapbooking paper and I used a Fiskars edge punch to make the lacy edge and added sentiments that I had in my stash, I hope they will like these, they were so easy to make.

Watchman Birthday Card

Hi There, made this card for a  male friend's birthday, I like this Tim Holtz stamp, it is one of my favourites, I have made a similar one for my son in law, and he really liked it, so I think Clive will like it also, on the inside I also used Tim's stamps, with the vintage ute and the saying which is in the same stamp set "Life's possibilities"  I used a bahama blue cardstock for the backgrouond and used the same colour for the stamping of the gears, the birds were a black ink pad and the man was stamped also in black and I coloured him with Faber-Castille water colour pencils and I put him on with dimensional tape so that he was offset at the bottom edge. I quite like this stamp.

Happy Birthday

Hi there, I haven't posted for a while because Life got in the way of Crafting, but here I am again, able to spend time playing with paper.  Today I made a birthday card that was inspired by Kim Blundell from http://www.uniquesprappiness.com, where she made a gift box for a Christmas gift, but I decided that I would change it and make a birthday card using a similar colourway and here it is, I used buttons from my button box and a scrap of ribbon I found in my ribbon box and a tiny doily that was a gift from a friend, I made the rose from a die from Die-Namics, Royal Mini Rose in white and used an old Fiskars stamp for the sentiment. The photo colour is not good because I have the house locked up and the air conditioner on because of the heat and had to put the light on because when I used the flash it bleached out all the colour.  Thanks Kim for your inspiration.

I made these four cards over the last 24 hours, the top left hand card was embossed with Tim Holtz "rays" embossing folder, and I coloured the rays with Lemon Yellow Water Colour paint, and used Red Glitter Paper for the hearts, cut with an old Cuttlebug "Concentric Hearts" this was one of my first cutting dies and I use it quite a bit, on the inside I used Glitter Red Card to cut "Love" with a Die-Namics "Celebrate" cutting die., with the top right hand card, I used a cream card stock and used a Maya Road stencil and Memento ink "Grape" for the background and Die-Namic cutting die "Leafy Flourish" for the leafage and Die-Namic "Prima Donna Petals" for the flowers, the designer paper was off cuts out of my scrap basket.   The bottom left hand card was a cream card stock with the flower and leaves from the Die-Namics  "hibiscus" also cut from scrap paper, I use most of my scrap paper for flowers, the "Good Times" is also cut from the "Celebrate" cutting die, and the last card the right hand bottom has a dark blue card stock for the base and the topper is cut from a piece of card that has been coloured with spray colour that I have mixed up myself with water colours and a Dyan Reavely stencil, I used Tim Holtz stamp "The Journey" for the umbrella man, the clock and the birds.   I used a length of black wool for the wraparound with a bow and used a Perfect Pearls Mist "sunflower sparkle" for the shine.

butterfly cards

I made both these cards this morning, they are both the same size, 4" X 5,3/4" but would not scan the same size, I used a lime green base card, and the topper is a practice piece I made with Dyan Reaveling inks and stencils, I liked the way they turned out, I used Versamark ink to stamp the butterflies and used Memento Green ink to stamp the leaves, these stamps were free stamps from Craft Stamper Magazine, the ribbon is actually seam binding that I used to mop up the inks from the craft mat. I like the way these two cards turned out, but am disappointed that they did not scan the same size.

Another Christmas Card

Here is a card I made this morning before going out,
I used free Spellbinder Stamps from Australian Simply Cards, Issue 61.   I stamped the decorations on white card stock with Memento Ink Pad "Lady Bug" and I used dimensional tape to attach them to the card, I used a gold gel pen to colour the tops and some stick on rhinestones to the chain, I have had these in my stash for ages, having bought them at a cheap shop, the designer paper is one I bought several years ago and there was only the one page left, and I had trashed the cover, so I don't know the designer.   Only a few more Christmas cards to do now, almost finished.

Halloween cards, #3 and #4

This card is for Grandson Number 3, I made it with Steampunk  Spells paper pad from Graphic 45, I really like this paper, and used the lady on the bike, I cut out the images to fit on top of a cut out showing the card from the inside, I used a piece of clear acetate for the window and cut out flowers from the paper, also I made roses with Die-Namic Mini Royal Roses, and the Happy Halloween came from some paper that I sourced from the internet, I think this one came from www.scrapbookscrapbook.com I used ranger stickles for the flower centres and the butterfly.

The next card is for Grandson Number 4, it is also
made with Graphic 45 "Steampunk Spells" paper
I used the Black cats for background and used the
Spiderweb and spider, with the spider having grey
eyes, from Kaisercraft Basics, stick on gems.
The small piece showing the sentiment was also
cut out of the graphic 45 paper,  this is another
card I am happy with.

Halloween Cards, #1 and #2

I have been making Halloween Cards for my grand-
sons, and this one is for No 1 grandson, I used an
A5 size card, and embossed a tree from Universal
"Sycamore" and used brown ochre ink pad on the
inside so that the image would show up, I used a
cobweb and spider, plus a bat cut from a die, I am not sure where these came from but they were given to by my friend Helen, Thanks Helen,  the house is a
Sizzex Bigz die "Haunted House", I used dotty paper behind it in Black and Grey and cut out the Ghost by hand, the spider has small black eyes, Kaiser craft
stick on gems and the pumpkins and the"Do Not Enter" are from some paper that I downloaded last year, not sure which web site it came from, so whoever you are, Thanks very much.  The next card

3 christmas cards, and one Watchman card

These are yesterday's cards, the two with the tree decorations were made with the embossed card stock, ivory, and the decorations were cut with a Marianne's Creatable die, and greeting dies I used a silver gel pen for the strings to the deco's.   The green card was stamped with a Tim Holtz Snowflake blueprint with distress embossing ink and his silver embossing powder, I used the same method for the Merry Christmas which was stamped with a stamp that I got last year with a kit, but I can't remember what brand it is, I used Tim's Movers and Shapers die "Pine tree and Holly" and cut out four holly leaves and the red holly was just punched out with a hole punch and the Watch Man was coloured with Faber-Castille water colour pencils and the stamp is of course, one of Tim's, and the sentiment is another one with unknown origin, I shaded the edges with Memento Rich Cocoa
