Show a bit of Brown

I made this card today from inspiration recieved from Shellyhickox.blogspot.com, she makes beautiful cards!!!   I made this card for Simon Says Stamp challenge show a bit of brown.   I used white card stock with stamps from tim Holtz "life's possibilities", "lost and found", a tim holtz ticket," SOAR'" and a tim holtz flying clock.I used card paper pad 6-1/2" kaisercraft black and white "Timeless".  I used tim holtz distress pad "Vintage Photo" for most of the stamping except the unbrella man, who I stamped in Back, I used Provocraft embossing folder "Diamonds in the rough" and used the vintage photo colour to lightly stain the embossed sections, I cut out the small flags myself from Brown card stock, and printed "Hello", it is a gate fold card as I am trying out new shapes.

Pop up card

I saw a beautiful card on Stamptramp website,
lovely cards by ShellyHickox.blogspot.com, where she made a beautiful card with the Sizzex Popup Die.   As I am on a limited income I wasn't able to buy this die as by the time I bought the die, the pad and the plates it would have cost over $65. and I did not want to pay that for something I would not use too much, so anyway played around and found a pop up on load of scrap.com website  that would pop  so here it is.  I made the card with black cardstock, and used the embossing folder Tim Holtz Sizzex Steampunk set and coloured it with a silver ink pad, I used the Tim Holtz magnet die "Mini gears", and
Spellbinders "Spritely Sprockets", and the paper I used is from a Kaiser craft 6-1/2" pad,
Black & White Timeless. I used the Tim Holtz
Clock in silver card stock, not a patch on Shelly's, but it satisfactory for a newbe.

Keep it Simple

I made this card today for the challenge on ABC Christmas Challenge "Keep it Simple", I used pale green paper from a paper stack 6" x 6" from Hot off the Press," Forever Christmas pad ", and I used Tim Holtz cutting die "Reindeer Flight" with a sentiment from the paper stack, with red stick on pearls from my stash (I've had them for a long time, and have lost the packaging with the name on it) I stamped the reindeers with a Stampendous stamp "Music Score", and used a black marker for the reindeer eyes as I have run out of black stick on pearls, which I usually used for eyes, I shaded the edges of the card with a medium green ink pad.

Embellished Frame

I made this card for Creative Corners Challenge "Embellished Frame"  and used a bright Pink Cardstock with an embossed image on a fine tissue paper and painted the little flowers and leaves in the same pink, the folder I used was Universal "florette", the bird is Sizzex bird No 5, the frame is Sizzex Timm Holtz frame "ornate" the butterfly is (I think a Martha Stewart) it was given to me by my friend Meg, Thanks Meg.   The small branches were from a Marianne Creatables R0107, flowers and leaves.   I used a pink ribbon and small angel from my stash, and two small palest green rhinestones for the body of the butterfly and shaded the edge of the card with pale pink ink pad.

A manly card

I made this card for my father's day collection, and used plain white card for the embossed background which is a Tim Holtz emb folder, the centre gears are Spellbinders and the car is one of Marianne's cutting dies, the gears on the top are Tim Holtz Steampunk on the edge dies, and the tiny pearls are Kaiser craft basics, the photo negative on the right hand side was a Tim Holtz stamp from "Lost and Found", I wrote there "wishing you a happy day" shaded the edges with a bronze coloured stamp pad.
