A Shabby Chic Theme


I made this card to enter into the Our Creative Corner's challenge "A Shabby Chic Theme", and I used white cardstock with a pale blue and white scrapbooking paper, from my stash.   I also used Tim Hotz clock Bigz die and sizzix Bird no 5, a MFT Die-Namics die "Leafy Flourish", the flowers I made my self and the small flowers were from a punch with white pearls in the centers, The blue pearls are from Jemark Imports from China and the little doily behind the bird was a gift from my friend Meg. Thank you Meg! the Butterfly is a Joy crafts cutting die. and I used a bale bue stamp pad to shade around the butterfly and the cock hands and the edges of the card.  I used pale blue Kindy Glitz for the sparkle on the bird, butterfy and the flowers.

One for the Boys


I made this card today for the challenge on Simon Says Stamp "One for the Boys".  I used clock paper from the Kaisercraft  6 1/2 pad Black and White Timeless, and used Tim Holtz Stamps "The Journey" and "Lost and Found" I really like these two stamp sets.  I used Tim's Rosette and also Distress Lace for the side edges. I used a clock from my stash and coloured the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad "Vintage Photo". I usually make three Fathers Day Cards, one for my husband, and one each for our son and son in law.

"Taggy"

Made this tag for the Christmas Stampin' all year long challenge No. 12, it was made with plain card stock, painted a pale green with Jo Sonja Acrylics and I used a Tim Holtz Tattered Flowers made and stamped with a Stampendous stamp "music score" and outlined with black pen, I used white grosgrain ribbon for the tag, and used coloured scrapbook paper for the scroll and Tim Holtz stamp "The Journey",
a safety pin and a silver key and butterfly from my stash.

card for challenge on Our Creative Corner

I made this card today for the challenge on Our Creative Corner.   The challenge was a card with Orange, Blue tones from white, cream to a bit of brown, and I think I have achieved this.   I used Orange corrugated card stock for the back panel with corners of Blue and White,   the model is a Tim Holtz Positional Magnetic die as is the cotton reel, I used place orangey/ cream with darker orange flowers and a blue ribbon and on the cotton reel I used the same colours with cream lace with a safety pin to hold it.   I used a Joy cutting/embossing die for the sewing machine from cream card stock and used a snippet of lace for the fabric it is a pale creamy colour, and used Tim Holtz' vintage photo distress ink on the sewing machine also on the edges of the model. I used a brown floral vintage paper for the butterflies which were cut and imbossed with a Joy cutting and embossing die.     The ticket is a Tim Holtz that I have had for a long tim.                                                                    .

Green Christmas Card

Here is my card for today.   I used plain white card stock with a light green paper from "Forever Christmas" paper stack from Hot off the Press, I used the Tim Holtz magnetic die "Pine tree and Holly set" together with his Reindeer Flight cutting die, the little villages are Marianne Design dies, I use them a lot, I used Kindy Glitz in green and chrystaline for the sparkle, and I used a dull green ink pad to colour around the edges. I have not entered this in any challenges because I wanted just to make a card for myself. On the reindeer I stamped "Music Score" from Stampendous, I really like this stamp and use it a lot.

Wedding Dress

I made this card today for the weekly card challenge on Club CK, and I used plain white cardstock, with the corners cut with a Marianne design creatables cutting die, I used the model from tim Holtz Mini Sewing Room, and the small bird from his Mini Bird and Cage set.   I used a Nellie Snellon die for the large doily and a MFT Die-namics die Prima Donna Petals for the flowers with tiny chrystal beads for the centers, small Martha Stewart Butterflies punch and I used my score pad to do the skirt with a Martha Stewart edge punch for the base and bodice of the dress with white satin ribbon for the tie, I punched out small flowers for the waist band also with chrystal centers. I scanned the card after failure to get a non blurry image with my camera.

black green and white christmas card no 2

I am reposting this card that I made yesterday for the challenge on Christmas Inspirations Quarta-feira on http://natal durante.oanoto.blogspot.com.au, the challenge was to make a Christmas card from Black,green and white cardstock, I used the Tim Holtz cutting die Frame "Ornate" and the others, ie the villages and flowers were cut from Marianne Creatable cutting dies,   I used plain black card stock with a dark green corrugated card for the background and the villages were cut from white and the flowers were cut from a pale green/dusky pink which I think the pointsettas are before they colour up, I used Kindy glitz for the sparkle, using black opal on the black card and green for the flowers and chrystaline on the village to simulate snow.

Black,green and white challenge card

I made this card today for the challenge on Christmas Inspirations, the challenge was to make a Christmas Card from Black, Green and White, so here is my try:   I used black cardstock with dark green in the background and a white village, I used a corrugated card in green and used thick deminisional? not sure of the spelling, I made green pointsetta's with slight shades of a dull pinky/green colour which I think they are before they colour up,   for the black section I used a Tim Hotz cutting die "Frame Back - Ornate" and for the village and the flowers and greenery I used Marianne Design Creatables cutting dies..  I used Kindy Glitz for the sparkle, Black Opal on the background, Back, and Green for the flowers and Crystalina on the village, I also used small pale green rhinestones on the centres of the flowers.

Pyramid shaped card

 I made this card today for the challenge on Paulien van den bosch blog, the inspiration came from her, the challenge was:  the shape with some lace and some butterflies, I used regular cardstock and also used paper from my stash, most of it scraps, the flowers I made myself from Tim Holtz tattered flowers die, the butterflies are from a spellbinders cutting die and the stamps were an assortment from Tim Holtz, and free stamps from Craft Stamper magazine.  I edged the card with a stamp pad I bought some years ago a sort of green/khaki colour, I've lost the label,  I used various Kindy Gotz colours to add the sparkle and some string
also the "regular" tape came from a clothes label.

One Layer Card

I made this card for the challenge on Christmas Stampin' all year long, calling for a one layer card.   I made this with plain white cardstock with an image of a
Christmas Fairy from a set from Papercraft and Cardmaking, and I used the "Merry Christmas" stamp from Kaisercraft "The Season Collection"  I used Faber-Castill Watercolour Pencils to colour the fairy and added "KindyGlitz Silver  to add sparkle to the fairy's wings and the star, I then added gold Kindy Glitz around the edges.

books and butterfly

This card was made today for the Make over Monday challenge at Paper Crafters Newsletter, and I used plain white cardstock with the red polka dots from We R Memory keepers 6 x 6 paper stack "travel light", and with the white cardstock on top of that were cut with a Couture creations nesting dies "Victorian rectangle" the books and apple on top were cut from a Provo craft Cuttebug cutting die "apple and books' that I have had in my stash for a long time I used grosgrain ribbon across the bottom with Craftworks Stick on Rhinestones, and the flowers and butterfly were in a pack that I recieved as a gift, and I shaded the edges with a red stamp pad.

OCC Color Trifecta

I made this card for the challenge on Our Creative Corner - OCC Color Trifecta.   The colours allowed in the challenge are Yellow, White and Kraft. I used white card stock with the kraft colour paper and an embossed section in yellow, I used the Tim Holtz embossing folder "Patchwork" and highighted the shapes with a cre8tive stamp pad, an old gold/kraft colour.   I used a white doily for the background and the rolled rose I made myself.   I used a Marianne design cutting die "Pointsetta's" in the yellow with the kraft stamens, highlighted with yellow Kindy Glitz.  I used a MFT Die-namics cutting die "Leafy Flourish for the kraft coloured  flourish's behind the flowers, I cut out the Butterflies from a Joy crafts cutting die,  and  for the embossing I used a Spellbinders embossing pad.   I added kaiser crafts basics stick on pearls in a neutral colour.    I really enjoyed making this card as there were only three colours allowed, and I think it worked out.

Embossing around the Christmas Tree


This card I made for the challenge on Jingle Bells Rock, and used dark green cardstock, and I found some thick silver  paper that was on my husbands medication, and used four embossing folders, Craft Concepts "Starry Night, Cuttlebug "Polka Dots" and Tim Holtz Alterations Texture Fades " December Calendar & Holiday Word Set"  I found the sentiment and Christmas Tree in a paper pad 6 x 6 "Forever Christmas Cards Paper Stack"  by Hot off the Press.

"I is for Icy"


This is the card I made for the ABC Christmas Challenge "I is for Icy"   I used dark blue background card, and cut two snowflakes from Sizzix "Snowflake No.17"   and the little villages were cut from Marianne Creatables cutting dies,  Village No.1 and No 2.   The snowflake border was cut from Tim Holtz "On the edge die - Ornate"   and I used Kindy glitz  " Christalina"  for the iciness on all the pieces.

yellow and white card with clock



This card was  made today for the challenge on Joans Gardens, I used a white card stock with patterned paper Yellow with Gold flowers "Kaiser craft - Fun in the Sun - "  I used Nellie Snellon edge cutting dies, and the clock is a Tim Holtz Bigz cutting die, The Butterfies are Martha Stewart Punch, and the Rhinestone in the middle of the clock hands is a Craftworks Stick on Gem, the flower I made myself, I used a pae yellow Kindyglitz to put some glitter on the clock and the butterflies.
