Christmas Deer, Number 2

This is the second card I made, the ABC Christmas Challenge was a "H for Hardware", and I forgot to add my hardware, so here it is in the "Christmas Fairy".

Christmas deer

I made this card today to go into the ABC Christmas Challenge, I like making Christmas cards, and I usually make about 80 every year.   The background on this  card I tried to use Tim Holtz background but I only had a back Versamark and the embossing powder I used was very poor quality.   I used an embossing folder a Darice embossing Essential "Sheet Music", and the green fence on the bottom is a Tim Holtz cutting die "Iron Gate", the blue paper on the back ground was the last of Christmas paper that I got several years ago, but I thought it would look nice in the background behind the little village which is a tiny Marianne Creatable Village No.1, I used Kindy Gitz Crystalina to highlight the village, and I used Tim Hotz Reindeer Flight (which I love), I stamped the deer with a Stampendous stamp "Music Score" and the deer eye is a Kaisercraft Basics stick on pearl, I sponged the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink pad "Vintage photo"

lady cooking

I made this card for the challenge on The Squirrel and the Fox, challenge no.16, "Food", I made it with back and white card stock from my stash, and I used the image from "The Graphics Fairy", she has many lovely free images.   I used Couture Creations Victorian nesting cutting dies to cut out the background for the image and the sentiment which I stamped from set of free stamps from Australiam Simply Cards magazine called "Vintage Chic"   The flowers and leaves were cut from a Marianne design Creatables flower die and the little black centres were cut from an MFT Die-Namics cutting die "Prima Donna Petals" and the butterfly was cut from  Spellbinders Shapeabilities Die "butterflys"   .

card for Joan's Challenge

This card I made for this weeks challenge on Joans Gardens, I found in my stash some nice pink paper with flowers on it and I used two white doilies and a corner piece in white, I made the flowers from MFT Die-Namics "Prima Donna Flowers" and I used a Fancy That die "Flourish" and I cut and made the rolled flowers myself,   the dragonflies were cut with a Fancy That die from Silver card, and I used rhinestones on the backs of the dragonflies, I used Pink, Green and Gold kindyglitz on the flowers and stems and also on the corner piece, you can't see it very well as the larger photo was too pale because the camera has a flash which I cannot disconnect and I had to take the photo at a distance. I tried one with my camera but I couldn't find out how to download the photo (which was quite good) so   I will have to ask my 12 year old grandson to show me how.  .I do not seem to be able to follow the instructions in the book that came with the camera.  I feel like such a dill!!

Another Jalopy!!

This is another Jalopy, one of my favourite Tim Holtz cutting dies,  you can make a card for a man or a woman, varying colours and backgrounds.    This one has a background from a Bo Bunny 6 x 6 paper pad, "Timepiece Collection"  which I love, the main part of the car is made with silver cardstock (shiny) so it makes it hard to photograph and scan, it comes out dark.   The Top, Running board and wheel centres etc are black card stock, all these I had in my stash, I made the small flowers and the clock is also from my stash, that I bought from China, the flat backed stick on pearls are from Kaisercraft Basics.

combination card

This card is a combination  of different elements, I used my own card stock for the base of the card, The Olde Curiosity Shoppe paper for the background, Tim Holtz "Iron Gate for the sides, Birdcage which my friend cut out for me, I don't remember exactly who designed the cutting die, a fairy from my stash that I previously bought from China, butterflies are from the Olde Curiosity Shoppe paper and the flowers I made myself from Tim Holtz Tattered Flowers.
